गरियाबंद - भारत निर्वाचन अयोग के निर्देशानुसार लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 हेतु विधानसभावार गरियाबंद जिले के दोनों विधानसभा क्षेत्र (राजिम-54 एवं बिन्द्रानवागढ़-55) के लिए ईव्हीएम एवं वीवीपैट मशीनों का प्रथम रेण्डमाईजेशन  राजनैतिक दलों के पदाधिकारियों की उपस्थिति में किया गया। कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री दीपक कुमार अग्रवाल एवं राजनैतिक दलों की उपस्थिति में आज कलेक्टोरेट सभाकक्ष में प्रातः 11 बजे गरियाबंद जिले के दोनों विधानसभा क्षेत्र राजिम-54 के 274 मतदान केन्द्र एवं बिन्द्रानवागढ़-55 के 299 मतदान केन्द्रों के लिए 21 प्रतिशत रिजर्व के साथ रेन्डमाईजेशन सॉफ्टवेयर के जरिए ईव्हीएम एवं वीवीपैट मशीनों का चयन किया गया। बैठक में इंडियन नेशनल कांग्रेस, भारतीय जनता पार्टी, गोंडवाना गंणतंत्र पार्टी, आम आदमी पार्टी के पदाधिकारी मौजूद थे। कम्प्यूटरीकृत रेण्डमाईजेशन में राजिम विधानसभा के लिए रिजर्व सहित कुल 331 बैलेट यूनिट, 331 कन्ट्रोल यूनिट एवं 383 वीवीपैट का रेण्डमाईजेशन किया गया। इसी तरह बिन्द्रानवागढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए 361 बैलेट यूनिट, 361 कन्ट्रोल यूनिट एवं 418 वीवीपैट मशीनों का चयन किया गया। इस तरह दोनों विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए कुल 692 बैलेट यूनिट, 692 कन्ट्रोल यूनिट एवं 801 वीवीपैट का रेण्डमाईजेशन किया गया। उल्लेखनीय है कि ईव्हीएम एवं वीवीपैट के चयन में पारदर्शिता बरतने हेतु ऑनलाईन रेण्डमाईजेशन विधि अपनाई गई तथा इस प्रक्रिया की वीडियोग्राफी भी कराई गई। इस अवसर पर अपर कलेक्टर श्री अरविन्द पाण्डेय, उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री राकेश कुमार गोलछा, एनआईसी के उपनिदेशक श्री नेहरू निराला, एसडीएम श्री विशाल महाराणा, श्रीमती अर्पिता पाठक, हितेश पिस्दा, लोक निर्माण विभाग के कार्यपालन अभियंता श्री अनुज शर्मा, डीएसपी सुश्री निशा सिन्हा सहित संबंधित अधिकारी एवं राजनीतिक दल के जिला प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे।

First randomization of EVM and VVPAT machines in the presence of political parties

Gariaband - As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the first randomization of EVM and VVPAT machines was done in the presence of officials of political parties for both the assembly constituencies of Gariaband district (Rajim-54 and Bindranavagarh-55) for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In the presence of Collector and District Election Officer Shri Deepak Kumar Aggarwal and political parties, today at 11 am in the Collectorate meeting room, with 21 percent reserve for 274 polling stations of Rajim-54 and 299 polling stations of Bindranavagarh-55, both assembly constituencies of Gariaband district. EVM and VVPAT machines were selected through randomization software. Officials of Indian National Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party, Gondwana Gantantra Party, Aam Aadmi Party were present in the meeting. In the computerized randomization, a total of 331 ballot units, 331 control units and 383 VVPATs including reserve for Rajim Assembly were randomized. Similarly, 361 ballot units, 361 control units and 418 VVPAT machines were selected for Bindranwagarh assembly constituency. In this way, randomization of a total of 692 ballot units, 692 control units and 801 VVPATs was done for both the assembly constituencies. It is noteworthy that to maintain transparency in the selection of EVM and VVPAT, online randomization method was adopted and videography of this process was also done. On this occasion, Additional Collector Mr. Arvind Pandey, Deputy District Election Officer Mr. Rakesh Kumar Golcha, Deputy Director of NIC Mr. Nehru Nirala, SDM Mr. Vishal Maharana, Mrs. Arpita Pathak, Hitesh Pisda, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Mr. Anuj Sharma, DSP Ms. Nisha. Sinha along with concerned officers and district representatives of political parties were present.
