कोरिया - लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2023 को लेकर आज कलेक्टर श्री विनय कुमार लंगेह व पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री सूरज सिंह परिहार ने स्ट्रांग रूम व सुरक्षा जवानों के ठहरने की जगह का निरीक्षण किया। बैकुंठपुर के आदर्श रामानुज शासकीय उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय को विगत विधानसभा सभा निर्वाचन 2023 में स्ट्रांग रूम बनाया गया था। लोकसभा निर्वाचन के लिए भी इसी स्थल को बनाया गया है। ईवीएम व वीपीएटी मशीनों के रखरखाव व चौक चौबंद सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए कलेक्टर श्री विनय कुमार लंगेह व पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री सूरज सिंह परिहार ने अधिकारियों के साथ निरीक्षण करते हुए आवश्यक व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। सलका स्थित पालीटेक्निक कॉलेज भवन का भी अधिकारियों द्वारा निरीक्षण किया।।श्री लंगेह ने पीडब्ल्यूडी के अधिकारी को शौचालय कक्ष को व्यवस्थित करने, खिड़की, दरवाजा आदि टूटफूट को शीघ्र मरम्मत करने के निर्देश दिए। श्री लंगेह ने निर्वाचन कार्य में सुरक्षा जवानों के पीने की पानी, बिजली, कूलर व साफ-सुथरा शौचालय व्यवस्था करने के लिए सम्बंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए। लोक निर्माण, ऊर्जा, लोक स्वास्थ्य यांत्रिकी, नगर पालिका परिषद, बैकुंठपुर के अधिकारियों को निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि सभी व्यवस्था समय पर कर लें ताकि निर्वाचन के दौरान किसी भी प्रकार की समस्या न हो। उन्होंने बिजली गुल होने पर जनरेटर व्यवस्था भी करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। बता दें कोरिया में तृतीय चरण में चुनाव होना है, इस दौरान तेज गर्मी पड़ने की आशंका को देखते हुए शीतल जल की व्यवस्था करने के स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए हैं। बता दें लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के तहत प्रदेश सहित कोरिया जिले में आदर्श आचार संहिता 17 मार्च 2024 से प्रभावशील है। प्रदेश में 11 लोकसभा सीटों के लिए तीन चरणों में मतदान होगा, वहीं 6 लोकसभा सीट अनारक्षित है 4 सीट अनुसूचित जनजाति वर्ग हेतु आरक्षित है एवं 1 सीट अनुसूचित जाति वर्ग के लिए आरक्षित है। तृतीय चरण में होने वाले कोरबा लोकसभा निर्वाचन के लिए अधिसूचना का प्रकाशन 12 अप्रैल, नामांकन दाखिल करने की अंतिम 19 अप्रैल, नामांकन पत्रों की संवीक्षा 20 अप्रैल, नाम वापसी 22 अप्रैल व  मतदान मंगलवार, 7 मई 2024 है। तीनों चरणों का मतगणना मंगलवार 4 जून 2024 को होगी।

Shri Langeh instructed the PWD officer to organize the toilet room and repair the damage to windows, doors etc. immediately. Shri Langeh instructed the concerned officers to make arrangements for drinking water, electricity, coolers and clean toilets for the security personnel during election work. While giving instructions to the officials of Public Works, Energy, Public Health Engineering, Municipal Council, Baikunthpur, he said that all the arrangements should be made on time so that there is no problem of any kind during the elections. He has also given instructions to make generator arrangements in case of power failure. Let us tell you that elections are to be held in the third phase in Korea, in view of the possibility of extreme heat during this period, clear instructions have been given to make arrangements for cool water. Let us tell you that under the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the model code of conduct in the state including Korea district is effective from March 17, 2024. Voting will be held in three phases for 11 Lok Sabha seats in the state, while 6 Lok Sabha seats are unreserved, 4 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe category and 1 seat is reserved for Scheduled Caste category. Publication of notification for Korba Lok Sabha elections to be held in the third phase is on April 12, last date for filing nominations is April 19, scrutiny of nomination papers is April 20, withdrawal of nominations is April 22 and voting is Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Counting of votes for all three phases will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
