कोंडागांव - भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा 85 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के बुजुर्ग और दिव्यांग मतदाताओं के मतदान के अधिकार को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए दी गई होम वोटिंग की सुविधा के तहत जिले में कांकेर लोकसभा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत केशकाल विधानसभा के कुल 56 मतदाताओं ने रविवार को मतदान किया। इनमें 15 दिव्यांग मतदाता और 41 बुजुर्ग मतदाता शामिल हैं। शारीरिक रुप से अशक्त मतदाताओं के मताधिकार को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए भारत निर्वाचन आयोग की इस सुविधा से मतदाताओं के साथ ही उनके परिजनों में भी उत्साह देखने को मिला। केशकाल लोकसभा क्षेत्र के कुल 116 मतदाताओं ने इस सुविधा का लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए आवेदन दिया था, जिनमें 56 मतदाताओं ने रविवार को मतदान किया, वहीं शेष मतदाताओं के मतदान के लिए मतदान दल सोमवार और मंगलवार को मतदाताओं के घर पहुंचेगा। घर में ही मतदान कराने की खुशी मतदाता के साथ ही उनके परिजनों के चेहरे पर भी साफ दिखाई दी। बड़े डांेगर के आवास प्लाट में रहने वाले भकचंद की पत्नी सतमी 16 वर्ष पूर्व बीमार पड़ने के कारण देख नहीं पाती। भकचंद ने मतदान दल के घर पहुंचने पर खुशी जताते हुए बताया कि मतदान केन्द्र लगभग डेढ़ किलोमीटर दूर है। पत्नी सतमी नहीं देख पाने के कारण अपने दिनचर्या के काम में परिवार के सदस्यों का सहारा लेती है। पूर्व में जब घर में ही मतदान करने की सुविधा नहीं थी, तब वे सतमी को पड़ोसियों के मोटर सायकल से मतदान केन्द्र पहुंचाते थे, क्योंकि घर में मोटर सायकल भी नहीं है और पड़ोसी के मोटर सायकल में पेट्रोल भी डलवाना पड़ता था। वहीं अब निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा बहुत ही अच्छी सुविधा प्रदान की गई है, जिससे अब मतदान के दिन मोटर सायकल की व्यवस्था नहीं करनी पड़ेगी। ग्राम पतोड़ी की 86 सुखियारिन यादव अब बुढ़ापे के कारण देख भी नहीं पाती है। मतदान दल के घर पहुंचने पर दोपहर को भोजन के बाद आराम कर रही सुखियारिन अपने बेटे की मदद से मतदान दल के सामने पहुंची और उत्साहित होकर अपना मतदान किया। सुखियारिन ने इस दौरान कहा कि मतदान करना हम सभी का कर्तव्य है और मुझे खुशी है कि मैं अपना  मतदान कर सकी। उन्होंने कहा कि निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा दी गई होम वोटिंग की इस सुविधा के कारण ही यह संभव हुआ। सुखियारिन ने बताया कि उसने पहली होम वोटिंग की सुविधा का लाभ लेते हुए घर में ही मतदान किया।

Since the wife cannot see Satmi, she takes help from family members in her daily work. Earlier, when there was no facility to vote at home, they used to take Satmi to the polling station on the neighbour's motorcycle, because there is no motorcycle at home and petrol had to be filled in the neighbor's motorcycle. Now very good facilities have been provided by the Election Commission, due to which now there will be no need to arrange for a motor cycle on the day of voting. 86 Sukhiyarin Yadav of village Patori is now unable to see due to old age. When the polling team reached home, Sukhiyarin, who was resting after lunch, reached in front of the polling team with the help of her son and enthusiastically cast her vote. Sukhiyarin said during this time that it is the duty of all of us to vote and I am happy that I could cast my vote.
