रायगढ़ - लोकसभा निर्वाचन-2024 हेतु प्रभावशील आदर्श आचार संहिता में रायगढ़ की फ्लाईंग स्क्वाड टीम के द्वारा आज बड़ी कार्यवाही करते हुए वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान मेडिकल कालेज रोड से एक इनोवा क्रिस्टा से 50 लाख रुपये नगद अवैध परिवहन करते हुए जप्त किया गया। वाहन में सवार लोगों से उक्त राशि के बारे में जानकारी मांगे जाने पर कोई संतोषप्रद जवाब नहीं दिया गया। मामला इंकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट को सौंप दिया गया है। इस संबंध में प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार आज लोकसभा निर्वाचन के उडऩदस्ता टीम दल क्रमांक 05 द्वारा चेकिंग के दौरान मेडिकल कालेज रोड रायगढ़ के आगे एकताल रोड में बंजारी मंदिर के पास ईनोवा क्रिस्टा वाहन क्रमांक जे एच 05 डी.सी./5705 को चेक करने पर वाहन में दो व्यक्ति बैठे मिले। जिन्हे पूछताछ कर चेक करने पर एक कपड़ा के थैला में 500-500 रूपये के नोट के 100 बंडल कुल 50 लाख रुपये अवैध रूप से ले जाते मिला। जिसे उक्त रकम के बारे में पूछताछ करने पर कोई संतोषप्रद जवाब नही दे पाये। उडऩदस्ता दल क्रमांक 05 के प्रभारी अधिकारी सहकारी निरीक्षक श्री अविनाश कश्यप, सह प्रभारी श्री अरूण कुमार साव, सहायक ग्रेड 02, पुलिस अधिकारी स.उ.नि. श्री गौतम ठाकुर द्वारा यह कार्यवाही की गई है। आगे की कार्यवाही हेतु प्रकरण इंकम टैक्स विभाग को सौंपा गया है। लोकसभा आम निर्वाचन के लिए आदर्श आचार संहिता के प्रभावी होने के बाद से जिले में चौकसी बढ़ा दी गई है। कलेक्टर श्री कार्तिकेया गोयल ने सभी इंफोर्समेंट एजेंसीज के अधिकारियों को लगातार जांच अभियान चलाने के निर्देश दिए हुए हैं। एसपी श्री दिव्यांग पटेल ने पुलिस की टीमों को सघन जांच के लिए निर्देशित किया है। पुलिस के साथ दूसरी जांच एजेंसियों की टीम्स भी फील्ड पर सक्रिय हैं। नगदी एवं अन्य सामग्री के अवैध परिवहन पर लगातार नजर रखी जा रही है।
Big action by Flying Squad team in Raigarh, Rs 50 lakh cash seized from the vehicle
Raigarh - In a major action taken today by the Flying Squad team of Raigarh in accordance with the model code of conduct effective for the Lok Sabha elections-2024, during the vehicle checking, Rs 50 lakh in cash was seized from an Innova Crysta from Medical College Road while illegally transporting it. When information regarding the said amount was sought from the people traveling in the vehicle, no satisfactory answer was given. The matter has been handed over to the Income Tax Department. According to the information received in this regard, today during the checking by Flying Squad Team Number 05 of Lok Sabha Elections, Enova Crysta vehicle number JH 05 DC/5705 was found near Banjari Temple in Ektal Road, ahead of Medical College Road, Raigarh. Two persons were found sitting in the vehicle. After questioning and checking, they found 100 bundles of Rs 500 notes in a cloth bag, totaling Rs 50 lakh, being carried illegally. When inquired about the said amount, no one could give a satisfactory answer. Officer in-charge of Flying Squad No. 05, Cooperative Inspector Mr. Avinash Kashyap, Co-incharge Mr. Arun Kumar Sao, Assistant Grade 02, Police Officer S.U.N. This action has been taken by Shri Gautam Thakur. The case has been handed over to the Income Tax Department for further action. Vigil has been increased in the district after the model code of conduct for the Lok Sabha general elections came into effect. Collector Shri Karthikeya Goyal has instructed the officers of all the enforcement agencies to conduct continuous investigation campaigns. SP Shri Divyang Patel has directed the police teams for intensive investigation. Along with the police, teams of other investigating agencies are also active on the field. Illegal transportation of cash and other materials is being continuously monitored.
