कोण्डागांव - भारतीय रेडक्राॅस सोसायटी के प्रदेश इकाई के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी श्री एमके राउत तथा अध्यक्ष श्री अशोक अग्रवाल ने जिले में रेडक्राॅस सोसायटी के माध्यम से संचालित कार्यों की समीक्षा की। श्री राउत ने इस दौरान कहा कि रेडक्राॅस सोसायटी के माध्यम से जनसेवा के कार्य का लाभ दुरस्थ अंचल के लोगों तक मिले। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिए रेडक्राॅस सोसायटी द्वारा मोबाईल मेडिकल यूनिट उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। इस मोबाईल मेडिकल यूनिट में चिकित्सक नर्स तथा लैब असिस्टेेंट उपस्थित रहेंगे, जो लोगों का स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण कर उपचार करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस मोबाईल मेडिकल यूनिट में एक विशेष उपकरण रहेगा, जिसके माध्यम से लोग अपने रक्त का नमुने से तुरंत ही विभिन्न रोगों का परीक्षण करा सकेंगे। इसके माध्यम से रिपोर्ट भी तत्काल उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। उन्होंने इस मोबाईल मेडिकल यूनिट के संचालन हेतु आवश्यक तैयारियां सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंन इस दौरान रेडक्राॅस सोसायटी की गतिविधियों को बढ़ाने के लिए महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थियों के साथ ही हाई स्कूल और हायर सेकेण्डरी स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों की सक्रिय भागीदारी बढ़ाए जाने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि रेडक्राॅस सोसायटी द्वारा लोगों को गंभीर परिस्थिति में प्राथमिक सहायता उपलब्ध कराने हेतु प्रशिक्षण भी दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रत्येक ग्राम पंचायत के पांच-छः युवाओं का इसका प्रशिक्षण अवश्य उपलब्ध कराना चाहिए, जिससे लोगों के अमूल्य जीवन की रक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सके। इसके साथ ही जिले में रक्तदान के माध्यम से रक्त संग्रहण तथा रक्त की आवश्यकता के संबंध में भी समीक्षा की गई। जिले में संचालित नशामुक्ति केन्द्र, वृद्धाश्रम सहित विभिन्न केन्द्रों के संचालन में रेडक्राॅस सोसायटी के महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका के संबंध में भी चर्चा की गई। जिले को टीबी मुक्त बनाने की दिशा में किए जा रहे कार्यों की समीक्षा करते हुए जनप्रतिनिधियों तथा विभिन्न साामजिक संगठनों के सहयोग के संबंध में भी इस अवसर पर चर्चा की गई।

Kondagaon - Chief Executive Officer of the state unit of the Indian Red Cross Society, Mr. MK Raut and President Mr. Ashok Aggarwal reviewed the works conducted through the Red Cross Society in the district. During this, Shri Raut said that the benefits of public service work through Red Cross Society should reach the people of remote areas. He said that for this, a mobile medical unit will be provided by the Red Cross Society. Doctors, nurses and lab assistants will be present in this mobile medical unit, who will examine the health of people and treat them. He said that this mobile medical unit will have a special equipment, through which people will be able to get their blood samples tested for various diseases immediately. Through this the report will also be made available immediately. He gave instructions to ensure necessary preparations for the operation of this mobile medical unit. During this time, he stressed on increasing the active participation of college students as well as high school and higher secondary school students to increase the activities of the Red Cross Society. He said that Red Cross Society will also provide training to people to provide first aid in critical situations. He said that five-six youth of every Gram Panchayat must be provided training in this, so that the precious lives of the people can be protected. Along with this, a review was also conducted regarding blood collection and requirement of blood through blood donation in the district. There was also discussion regarding the important role of Red Cross Society in the operation of various centers including de-addiction centers and old age homes operated in the district. While reviewing the work being done towards making the district TB free, cooperation of public representatives and various social organizations was also discussed on this occasion.
