डिण्डोरी - जिले में रबी सीजन में गेहूं, चना, मटर, मसूर और तिलहनी फसलों की कटाई एवं गहाई का कार्य जारी है। लगातार तापमान में बढ़ोतरी होने से फसलों के सही समय पर उचित प्रबंधन न करने से उत्पादन और गुणवत्ता दोनों ही पर विपरीत प्रभाव पड़ता है। अतः किसानों के हित में कृषि विभाग द्वारा जारी ध्यान रखने योग्य बातें :- • देरी से बोई गई दलहनी फसलें कटाई हेतु परिपक्व हो चुकी है। जब ऊपरी पत्तियां और तना सूख चुका हो, 70-80 प्रतिशत फलियां पक चुकी हो। फली से दाने निकाल कर काटा जाए और कट की आवाज आए। तब फसल कटाई हेतु तैयार है। मसूर की कटाई सुबह के समय करने से दाने झड़ने से बचा जा सकता है। •  गेहूं को दानों में 25-30% नमी की स्थिति में कटाई करे। अधिक परिपक्व होने की अवस्था में कटाई करने पर दाने झड़ने और चूहों कीट-व्याधि के प्रकोप से उपज में कमी होती है। •  कटाई करने के बाद खलिहान में 4-5 दिन सुखाकर गहाई कर 10-12% नमी में भंडारित कर लेना चाहिए। परंतु दलहनी फसलों में नमी 10% से अधिक नही होनी चाहिए। •  उपज की गुणवत्ता बनाए रखने हेतु उपज को ज्यादा समय तक खलिहान में न रखे। •  असामयिक प्राकृतिक आपदाओं (बिजली, वर्षा, और आग इत्यादि) से बचाव हेतु गहाई समय पर कर खलिहान से उपज को सुरक्षित भंडारित करें।

Due to continuous increase in temperature, not proper management of crops at the right time has an adverse effect on both production and quality. Therefore, points to be kept in mind issued by the Agriculture Department in the interest of farmers: - • Late sown pulses crops have become ripe for harvesting. When the upper leaves and stem have dried, 70-80 percent of the pods are ripe. The grains should be taken out from the pod and cut and a cutting sound should be heard. Then the crop is ready for harvesting. By harvesting lentils in the morning, grain loss can be avoided. • Harvest wheat at 25-30% moisture in grains. Harvesting at a more mature stage results in yield loss due to grain loss and infestation by rats and insects. • After harvesting, it should be dried in the barn for 4-5 days, threshed and stored at 10-12% moisture. But the moisture in pulse crops should not be more than 10%. • To maintain the quality of the produce, do not keep the produce in the barn for a long time. • To protect against untimely natural calamities (lightning, rain, and fire etc.), thresh the produce on time and store the produce safely in the barn.
