रीवा - मतदाता जागरुकता कार्यक्रम के अन्तर्गत अवधेश प्रताप सिंह विश्वविद्यालय, के छात्र/छात्राओं को मतदान के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय, केन्द्रीय संचार ब्यूरों तथा विश्वविद्यालय के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में दर्शन विभाग के सभागार में मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें पोस्टर निर्माण, रंगोली एवं जागरूकता रैली जैसे अनेक कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से शतप्रतिशत मतदाताओं को जागरूक करने का प्रयास किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए कुलगुरू डॉ. राजकुमार आचार्य ने विद्यार्थियों एवं सभागार में उपस्थित विद्वतजनों से आवाहन किया कि सभी लोग अनिवार्य रूप से अपने मत का प्रयोग करे जिससे देश एवं प्रदेश के विकास की दिशा और दशा सुनिश्चित हो सके, ऐसे में सभी को बढ़-चढ़ कर मतदान जैसे राष्ट्रीय पर्व में हिस्सा लेना चाहिए। साथ ही उन्होंने सभागार में उपस्थित सभी लोगों को मतदान के लिए शपथ दिलाई। सुरेन्द्र सिंह परिहार, कुलसचिव ने बताया कि मतदान के प्रति जागरूकता हमारे समाज के निमार्ण में अत्यन्त महत्वपूर्ण है। मतदान द्वारा हम अपनी सरकार को चुनते है जो राष्ट्र के निमार्ण में अहम भूमिका निभाती है। मतदान करना हमारा नागरिक कर्तव्य है और इसके माध्यम से हम अपने देश के सुधार और विकास में सक्रिय भागीदार बनते है। इसी कड़ी में प्रो. एन.पी पाठक द्वारा अपने उद्धबोधन में बताया गया कि मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से हम सिर्फ विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों को मतदान के महत्व को समझाने का प्रयास नहीं कर रहे है, बल्कि हम अपने सामाजिक दायित्वों के प्रति उनकों संवेदनशील बनाने का प्रयास कर रहे है। कार्यक्रम में आयोजित विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं के अन्तर्गत पोस्टर निर्माण में शाम्भवी अग्निहोत्री, उन्नति त्रिपाठी, अपूर्वा मिश्र एवं अंकिता दुबे ने क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं सयुक्त रूप से तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया एवं रंगोली प्रतियोगिता में खुशबू पटेल एवं सोभा पाल, साधना कुशवाहा, आकांक्षा सिंह ने क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में प्रो. श्रीकांत मिश्र द्वारा हरी झंडी दिखा कर मतदाता जागरूकता रैली का शुभारंभ किया गया।

In this series, Prof. In his address, NP Pathak said that through the voter awareness program, we are not just trying to make the university students understand the importance of voting, but we are also trying to sensitize them towards their social responsibilities. .
