महासमुन्द - लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के लिए कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री प्रभात मलिक के निर्देशानुसार चेक पोस्ट लगाकर वाहनों की जांच करने के लिए जिले में कुल 22 स्थलों के लिए स्थैतिक निगरानी टीम (एसएसटी) की नियुक्ति की गई है। जिसमें से 11 अंतर्राज्यीय सीमा में तथा 11 अंतर जिला सीमा में तैनात रहेंगे। दल में नियुक्त अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारियों को वन प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र में दो पालियों में प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। जिला मास्टर ट्रेनर श्री तोषण गिरी गोस्वामी ने प्रशिक्षण के दौरान बताया कि एसएसटी द्वारा चेक पोस्ट में आने-जाने वाले वाहनों की जांच किया जाएगा। मतदाता को प्रलोभन देने के लिए नगद राशि, उपहार सामग्री तथा शराब आदि ले जाते पकड़े जाने पर जप्ती की कार्यवाही की जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि 50 हजार रुपए तक की राशि लाने ले जाने में कोई प्रतिबंध नहीं है। इससे अधिक नगद राशि होने पर संबंधित व्यक्ति को वैध प्रमाण दिखाना होगा। यदि कोई वैध प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत नहीं किया जाएगा तो इस राशि को जप्त किया जा सकता है। इसके अलावा हथियार, नशीले पदार्थ तथा निर्धारित मात्रा से अधिक शराब का परिवहन करते पाए जाने पर भी जप्ती की कार्यवाही की जाएगी। एसएसटी टीम द्वारा ऐसी समस्त कार्यवाहियों की वीडियोग्राफी की जाएगी तथा संबंधित व्यक्तियों, ड्राइवर आदि का बयान भी लिया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि चेकिंग के दौरान टीम विनम्र व्यवहार करें तथा नागरिकों का उचित सम्मान करें। महिलाओं के पर्स की जांच केवल महिला अधिकारी ही कर सकते हैं। एसएसटी द्वारा अपने द्वारा की गई कार्यवाहियों की दैनिक रिपोर्ट प्रपत्र 9 में सहायक रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर को देना होगा। इसके अलावा इलेक्शन सीजर्स मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम मोबाईल एप्प के द्वारा भी इसकी जानकारी दी जाएगी। प्रशिक्षण में जिला सूचना एवं विज्ञान अधिकारी श्री देवेन्द्र साहू, निर्वाचन पर्यवेक्षक श्री आर.के. बारले, प्रशिक्षण के नोडल अधिकारी श्री नंदकिशोर सिन्हा, मास्टर ट्रेनर श्री संजय मांझी उपस्थित थे।

Mahasamund - As per the instructions of Collector and District Election Officer Shri Prabhat Malik for Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Static Surveillance Team (SST) has been appointed for a total of 22 places in the district to check vehicles by setting up check posts. Out of which 11 will be deployed in the inter-state border and 11 in the inter-district border. The officers and employees appointed in the team were given training in two shifts at the Forest Training Centre. District Master Trainer Shri Toshan Giri Goswami told during the training that the vehicles coming and going in the check post will be checked by SST. If anyone is caught carrying cash, gift items and liquor etc. to lure voters, confiscation action will be taken. He said that there is no restriction in carrying money up to Rs 50 thousand. If the cash amount is more than this, the person concerned will have to show valid proof. This amount may be confiscated if no valid certificate is presented. Apart from this, confiscation action will also be taken if weapons, narcotics and liquor are found being transported in excess of the prescribed quantity. All such proceedings will be videographed by the SST team and statements of the concerned persons, drivers etc. will also be taken. He said that during checking the team should behave politely and give proper respect to the citizens. Only women officers can check women's purses. The SST will have to submit daily report of the actions taken by him to the Assistant Returning Officer in Form 9. Apart from this, this information will also be given through Election Seizure Management System mobile app. District Information and Science Officer Mr. Devendra Sahu, Election Supervisor Mr. R.K. participated in the training. Barle, Nodal Officer for Training Mr. Nandkishore Sinha, Master Trainer Mr. Sanjay Manjhi were present.
