जिले में शांति व्यवस्था बनाये रखने के लिए धारा 144 लागू lagu Aaj Tak 24 News 

सूरजपुर - भारत निर्वाचन आयोग, नई दिल्ली द्वारा लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 की घोषणा कर दी गई है। लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के घोषित कार्यक्रम अनुसार जिले में मतदान तिथि  07 मई  2024  एवं 04 जून 2024 को मतगणना नियत है। सम्पूर्ण निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया के दौरान जिले में शांति व्यवस्था बनाये रखने एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक  से प्राप्त परामर्श अनुसार आगामी लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के दौरान चुनाव प्रक्रिया में कुछ आपत्तिजनक तत्व भय एवं  निष्पक्ष चुनाव में बाधा खड़ा हो सकते हैं।  जिससे सम्पूर्ण  जिले का वातावरण अशान्त  हो सकता है। उपरोक्त परिस्थितियों को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए कलेक्टर श्री रोहित व्यास ने जिले में लोकसभा निर्वाचन के दौरान शांति व्यवस्था बनाये रखने हेतु दण्ड प्रक्रिया संहिता, 1973 के अंतर्गत धारा 144 (1) एवं (2) के तहत प्रदत्त अधिकारों का प्रयोग करते हुए आदेश जारी किया है। जिससे मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग भयमुक्त वातावरण में निर्भय होकर, कर सके। जारी आदेश में कहा है कि बिना अनुमति के कोई जुलूस या रैली नहीं निकाली जाएगी। कोई भी व्यक्ति न तो किसी प्रकार का शस्त्र, तलवार, फरसा, भाला, लाठी, चाकू, छुरा, कुल्हाड़ी, त्रिशुल अथवा अन्य अस्त्र-शस्त्र लेकर सार्वजनिक स्थान पर नहीं निकलेगा। जो व्यक्ति शासकीय कर्तव्य पर है, ड्यूटी के दौरान अस्त्र-शस्त्र धारण कर सकेंगे। ऐसे वृद्ध, विकलांग जो लाठी के बिना चलने में असमर्थ है, वे लाठी का प्रयोग कर सकते हैं।

Section 144 imposed to maintain peace in the district

Surajpur – Lok Sabha Elections 2024 have been announced by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi. According to the announced schedule of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, counting of votes in the district is scheduled on 07 May 2024 and 04 June 2024. To maintain peace in the district during the entire election process and as per the advice received from the Superintendent of Police, during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, some objectionable elements in the election process may create fear and hinder fair elections. Due to which the environment of the entire district can become disturbed. Keeping in view the above circumstances, Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas has issued an order using the powers granted under Section 144 (1) and (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 to maintain peace and order during the Lok Sabha elections in the district. . So that voters can exercise their franchise fearlessly in a fear-free environment. In the order issued, it has been said that no procession or rally will be taken out without permission. No person shall go out into any public place carrying any kind of weapon, sword, axe, spear, stick, knife, knife, axe, trident or any other weapon. Persons who are on government duty will be able to wear weapons while on duty. Old people and disabled people who are unable to walk without sticks can use sticks.
