रायगढ़ - चैत्र नवरात्र लगते ही मंदिरों में भक्त श्रद्धालु भारी संख्या में पहुंच रहे हैं, देश भर में रामनवमी का त्यौहार हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है चैत नवरात्र के पहले ही दिन नगर के बूढ़ी माता मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं ने मत्था टेककर प्रसाद चढ़ाकर अपने - अपने परिवार में सुख समृद्धि और खुशहाली की कामना के लिए पहुंचे। विदित हो पूरे भारत में हिंदू धर्म में रामनवमी का त्योहार हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है, नव दिन तक श्रद्धालु उपवास रखकर भगवान की पूजा अर्चना करते हैं। नगर के मध्य दरोगापारा और बंगलापारा के बीच में बूढ़ी माता का मंदिर है यहां श्रद्धालुगण अपनी - अपनी कामनाओ को लेकर पहुंचते हैं कहा जाता है बूढ़ी माता मंदिर में श्रद्धा और विश्वास के साथ पूजा अर्चना करने से लोगों की मनोकामना भी जल्द पूर्ण होती है इसलिए दूर - दूर से श्रद्धालु यहां पूजा अर्चना करने पहुंचते हैं हर वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी भक्तों को बूढ़ी माता के दरबार में पहुंचकर माथा टेककर आशीर्वाद प्राप्त कर रहे हैं। बूढ़ी माता मंदिर के पुजारी श्री रामरत्न मिश्र और योगेश दुबे ने बताया कि बूढ़ी माता का दर्शन करने रायगढ़ के आस- पास गांव से भी लोग आते है प्रातः 5 बजे मंदिर का पट खोलकर सुबह पूजन अर्चन के पहले माता का स्नान सिंगार किया जाता है। जिसके बाद विधिविधान के अनुसार पूजा अर्चना कर आरती की जाती है। उन्होंने बताया कि इसबार 1700 ज्योति कलश स्थापना हुई है यहां हर वर्ष ज्योति कलश स्थापना बढ़ रही है बूढ़ी माता के आशीर्वाद से श्रद्धालुओ की कामना पूरी हो रही है पुजारी ने बताया आज नवरात्र के प्रथम दिवस माता शैलपुत्री जी का पूजा अर्चना किया गया तथा बूढ़ी माता का सोलह प्रकार से पूजा किया गया। खास बात यह बताई गई कि बूढ़ी माता मंदिर में देश विदेश के भी श्रद्धालु ज्योति कलश की स्थापना करवाते हैं आगे कहा कि बूढ़ी माता मंदिर ट्रस्ट द्वारा भक्तो के लिए विशेष प्रसाद वितरण की व्यवस्था भी की गई है।
