रायगढ़ - चंद्रहासिनी मंदिर प्रांगण के दुकानदारों ने चंद्रपुर पुलिस प्रशासन की व्यवस्था का पुरजोर विरोध किया,  पूजा सामग्री बेचने वाले दुकान संचालकों ने नवरात्रि के दूसरे दिन 10 अप्रैल की सुबह एकजुट हुए और पुलिस प्रशासन का विरोध करते हुए अपनी - अपनी दुकानों को बंद कर विरोध किया गया। शक्ति जिले की चंद्रपुर नगर पंचायत माता चंद्रहासनी देवी के लिए पूरे प्रदेश में जाना जाता है, हर वर्ष की तरह इस वर्ष भी मां चंद्रहासिनी देवी की पावन नगरी चंद्रपुर में 9 अप्रैल से चैत्र नवरात्रि पर्व पर प्रारंभ हुआ। भव्य नवरात्रि मेले में जिला पुलिस अधीक्षक अंकिता शर्मा के दिशा- निर्देशन में पुलिस प्रशासन द्वारा इस वर्ष मेले में आने वाले लोगों को बेहतर सुविधाजनक ढंग से दर्शन करने हेतु व्यवस्थाएं बनाने की पहल की गई। बता दें चंद्रपुर मां चंद्रहासनी देवी के लिए ही जाना जाता है यहां हर वर्ष प्रदेश भर से हजारों श्रद्धालु माता का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने आते हैं। अन्य वर्ष के मुकाबले इस वर्ष पुलिस प्रशासन धार्मिक मेले में लोगों के सुविधा हेतु व्यवस्था मजबूत बनाने का प्रयास कर रही है, चंद्रपुर थाना प्रभारी नंदलाल राठिया के दिशा निर्देशन में विगत दो- तीन दिनों से निरंतर चंद्रहासिनी मंदिर परिसर के बाहर पूजा सामग्री लगाने वाले दुकानदारों को आग्रह किया गया था कि वे अपनी दुकानों के सामने किसी भी प्रकार की श्रद्धालुओं की छोटी - बड़ी वाहनों को खड़ा ना करवाए और प्रशासन का सहयोग करें किंतु पूजा सामग्री बेचने वालों का कहना है कि चंद्रपुर के मंदिर परिसर के बाहर विगत कई दशकों से निरंतर ऐसी व्यवस्था चली आ रही है तथा पुलिस प्रशासन की नई व्यवस्था हमारे लिए वर्तमान स्थिति में उचित नहीं है दुकानदारों का कहना है कि उन्हें पुरानी व्यवस्था पर ही अपना व्यापार करने दिया जाए वहीं पुलिस प्रशासन भी अपनी नई व्यवस्था बनाने के लिए अड़ गई, इसी को लेकर पूजा सामग्री बेचने वाले दुकानदारों ने सुबह एकत्रित होकर अपनी दुकाने बंद कर पुलिस प्रशासन के खिलाफ मनमानी का आरोप लगाया और विरोध जताते हुए सभी दुकानदारों ने अपनी - अपनी   दुकान बंद कर पुलिस प्रशासन का खुल्ला विरोध सुरु कर दिया। सुबह थोड़ी देर दुकानें बंद रही  जिसकी खबर जिला प्रशासन को हुई उसके बाद तहसीलदार अभिजीत राजभानु, द्वारा पुलिस प्रशासन और दुकानदारों के साथ बैठक किए उक्त बैठक के बाद आपसी सहमति से दुकानदारों ने अपना विरोध खत्म कर दुकान खोलने तैयार हुए।
