धमतरी - लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के तहत आगामी 26 अप्रैल को मतदान होगा। इसके मद्देजनर जिले में मतदातओं को जागरूक करने नवाचार किया जा रहा है। विधानसभा क्षेत्र धमतरी के ग्राम मुजगहन में राहगीरों की प्यास बुझाने के लिए लगे मटकों में मतदाता जागरूकता संबंधी नारा-स्लोगन लिखे गये। साथ ही यहां से गुजरने वाले राहगीर, आसपास काम करने वाले मजदूरों को आगामी 26 अप्रैल को अनिवार्य रूप मतदान करने के लिए प्रेरित किया जा रहा तथा शपथ भी दिलाई जा रही। इसके साथ ही जिले के वनांचल नगरी विकासखण्ड स्थित ग्राम मोदे के लीफ आर्टिस्ट एवं युवा कवि ने पीपल के पत्तों पर ग्लोब, भारत के नक्शा पर उंगली के निशान, संसद भवन और हिंदू, मुस्लिम, सिक्ख इसाई चारों धर्म के व्यक्तियों को दर्शाता पेंटिंग बनाकर मतदाताओं को जागरूक कर रहे हैं। इस अनोखी कलाकारी और मतदाताओं के जागरूकता के लिए की गई उनके हुनर की कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने प्रशंसा भी की। गौरतलब है कि कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी सुश्री नम्रता गांधी के निर्देश एवं सीईओ जिला पंचायत तथा स्वीप जिला नोडल अधिकारी सुश्री रोमा श्रीवास्तव के मार्गदर्शन में जिले में लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के तहत आगामी 26 अप्रैल को होने वाले मतदान के लिए लोगों को लगातार जागरूक किया जा रहा है।
