बेमेतरा - बेमेतरा कलेक्टर श्री रणबीर शर्मा के आदेशानुसार जिले में बाल विवाह मुक्त करने हेतु संयुक्त टीम जिले में लगातार कार्यवाही कर रही है। इसी क्रम में 23 अप्रैल 2024 दिन मंगलवार को चाइल्ड हेल्पलाईन न. 1098 जिला बाल संरक्षण इकाई महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग को विकासखण्ड बेरला के ग्राम-आनंदगाव, तह-बेरला की एक बालिका का बाल विवाह की जानकारी प्राप्त हुई थी, जानकारी के आधार पर श्री चन्द्रबेश सिंह सिसोदिया जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी एवं श्री सी.पी. शर्मा महिला एवं बाल विकास अधिकारी के निर्देशानुसार जिला बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी श्री व्योम श्रीवास्तव एवं बेरला परियोजना अधिकारी श्री विद्यानंद बोरकर के मार्गदर्शन में बाल विवाह के रोकथाम हेतु कार्यवाही की गयी। उक्त ग्राम के पात्रे परिवार के एक बालिका का बाल विवाह होने जा रहा था। बाल विवाह किये जाने की सूचना पर चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन 1098 जिला बाल संरक्षण इकाई महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग एवं पुलिस विभाग के संयुक्त टीम द्वारा बाल विवाह रोकवाया गया। शिकायत प्राप्त होने पर आनंदगांव में पात्रे परिवार में बाल विवाह रुकवाया गया। उक्त बालिका से कुसमी (बहेरा) निवासी एक 28 वर्षीय युवक से विवाह होने जा रहा था। सूचना के पश्चात टीम द्वारा बालिका एवं वर युवक के परिवार जनों के समक्ष कार्यवाही किया गया। बालिका एवं वर युवक के परिजनों के द्वारा निर्धारित आयु पूर्ण होने के उपरांत ही विवाह किये जाने हेतु अपनी सहमति प्रदान की गई तथा विवाह स्थगित करने की बात कही गई, युवक के परिजनों के कथन अनुसार हमें यह ज्ञात नहीं था कि वर्तमान में मौजूदा कानून के तहत 18 वर्ष से कम आयु की बालिका एवं 21 वर्ष से कम आयु के बालक का विवाह गैर कानूनी है।टीम द्वारा समझाईस दिये जाने पर वर पक्ष द्वारा उक्त बालक का विवाह वर्तमान में मौजूदा कानून के तहत विवाह किये जाने की शपथ पूर्वक कथन किया गया। संयुक्त टीम द्वारा उन्हे बाल विवाह प्रतिषेध अधिनियम, 2006 में उल्लेखित प्रावधानों के बारे में बताया गया कि निर्धारित आयु पूर्ण होने के पूर्व विवाह करवाना अपराध है, जो भी व्यक्ति यथाः बाल विवाह कराने वाले वर एवं वधु के माता-पिता, सगे-संबंधी, बाराती, विवाह कराने वाले पुरोहित, बैंड बाजा, हलवाई एवं टैट वालों पर मी कानूनी कार्यवाही की जा सकती है।

Bemetara - As per the orders of Bemetara Collector Mr. Ranbir Sharma, a joint team is continuously taking action in the district to make child marriage free in the district. In this sequence, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, child helpline no. 1098 District Child Protection Unit, Women and Child Development Department had received information about child marriage of a girl from village Anandgaon, Teh-Berla of development block Berla. On the basis of the information, Mr. Chandrabesh Singh Sisodia, District Program Officer and Mr. C.P. As per the instructions of Sharma Women and Child Development Officer, action was taken to prevent child marriage under the guidance of District Child Protection Officer Mr. Vyom Srivastava and Berla Project Officer Mr. Vidyanand Borkar. A girl from the Patre family of the said village was going to get a child marriage. On receiving information about child marriage, child marriage was stopped by the joint team of Child Helpline 1098, District Child Protection Unit, Women and Child Development Department and Police Department. After receiving the complaint, child marriage in the Patre family in Anandgaon was stopped. The said girl was going to get married to a 28 year old youth resident of Kusmi (Bahera). After the information, the team took action in front of the family members of the girl and the groom. The family members of the girl and the groom gave their consent for the marriage only after the completion of the prescribed age and were told to postpone the marriage. According to the statement of the family members of the young man, we did not know that as per the existing law. Under this Act, the marriage of a girl below the age of 18 years and a boy below the age of 21 years is illegal. After being explained by the team, the groom's party gave an sworn statement that the marriage of the said child will be done as per the existing law. . The joint team told them about the provisions mentioned in the Child Marriage Prohibition Act, 2006, that it is a crime to get married before the completion of the prescribed age, and whoever conducts the child marriage, such as: parents of the bride and groom, relatives, Legal action can be taken against wedding guests, wedding priests, bands, confectioners and tarts.
