शहडोल - जिले का दुर्भाग्य ही है की यहां खनिज संसाधन मौजूद हैं जहां पर माफियाओं की टेढ़ी नजर हमेशा रहती है।आज जिले के ब्योहारी के सरवारी गांव में सहकार ग्लोबल लिमिटेड द्वारा किए जा रहे अवैध खनन के विरुद्ध ग्रामीण जन उपस्थित हुए और उनके विरोध को देखते हुए सहकार ग्लोबल लिमिटेड के गुर्गे हाइवा, पोकलेन ले फरार हो गए, ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि सहकार ग्लोबल लिमिटेड को 233 पर लीज मिला है पर उनके द्वारा शहडोल–सीधी सीमा पर  594,569 पर अवैध उत्खनन किया जा रहा था जो ग्रामीणों के विरोध के बाद सहकार के गुर्गे मौका स्थल से फरार हो गए। वहीं यहां ठेका लेने वाली सहकार ग्लोबल लिमिटेड इन दिनों चर्चाओं में हैं जो अपनी लीज से हटकर अवैध रेत उत्खनन कर रही है। जबकि यहां पदस्थ होने वाले खनिज विभाग के अधिकारी, जिला प्रशासन के मुखिया और पुलिस कप्तान की जिम्मेदारी है की यहां आपके रहते कानून,नियम, कायदों का पालन हो मगर यहां कितने भी ईमानदार अफसर आ जाएं उनका ईमान अथाह संपदा को देखकर बिक ही  जाता है या ये कहे की उन्हें सिर्फ एक शर्त पर जिले में भेजा जाता है की अवैध संपदा को लूटने वालों को खुली छूट दोगे तभी शहडोल में अफसरी मिलेगी। वहीं यहां कहने को तो राजस्व विभाग से कमिश्नर तो पुलिस विभाग के एडीजी स्तर के अधिकारी भी मौजूद जो इन तमाशों को आंख मूंद कर देख रहे हैं। जबकि इनकी जिम्मेदारी है की इनके रहते कानून, व्यवस्था, जुआ, सट्टा, अवैध रेत उत्खनन,परिवहन, चोरी, हत्या, नकबजनी, लूट,बलात्कार, हत्या सहित अन्य मामलों पर लगाम लगे पर ये तो हालात के मारे अफसर हैं जो ऊपरी आदेश के मोहताज है जो अपन स्वर्णिम काल काट यहां के जनता को उन्ही के हाल में छोड़ फिर अपने नए मंजिल को रवाना हो जायेंगे।

Seeing this, the henchmen of Sahakar Global Limited fled away from Haiva, Poklane, villagers told that Sahakar Global Limited has got lease on 233 but illegal excavation was being done by them on 594,569 on Shahdol-Sidhi border, which was stopped after protest by villagers. Sahakar's henchmen fled from the spot. Sahakar Global Limited, which has taken the contract here, is in the news these days as it is doing illegal sand excavation outside its lease.
