बलरामपुर - कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री रिमिजियुस एक्का की  अध्यक्षता में संयुक्त जिला कार्यालय के सभाकक्ष में लोकसभा सामान्य निर्वाचन 2024 के तैयारियों के संबंध में बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में कलेक्टर श्री एक्का ने स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष एवं शांतिपूर्ण निर्वाचन के लिए सभी अधिकारियों को भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुरूप कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने मतदान प्रक्रिया के संबंध में अधिकारी-कर्मचारियों को दिए जा रहे प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम की जानकारी लेते हुए निर्वाचन आयोग से प्राप्त मार्गदर्शिका के अनुरूप प्रशिक्षण देने की बात कही। उन्होंने मतदान केन्द्रों में सभी मूलभूत सुविधाएं, मतदान दलों का गठन, निर्वाचन सामग्री का वितरण एवं वापसी, रूट चार्ट, वाहन की उपलब्धता, कंट्रोल रूम, शिकायत शाखा, आदि की समीक्षा कर संबंधित नोडल अधिकारियों को आवश्यक निर्देश दिए। कलेक्टर ने ईडीसी, पोस्टल बैलेट के संबंध में जानकारी लेते हुए निर्वाचन कार्य में लगे कर्मचारियों को डाक मतपत्र, ईडीसी जारी करने के लिए कर्मचारियों का आंकलन कर जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने को कहा। उन्होंने अंतर्राज्यीय सीमाओं के चेक पोस्ट में लगातार निगरानी रखने तथा उड़दनस्ता दल, स्थैतिक निगरानी दल, वीडियो अवलोकन दल, वीडियो निगरानी दल, सी-विजिल एवं एमसीएमसी की टीम को सतर्कता, सजगता एवं सक्रियतापूर्वक कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए। बैठक में मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी जिला पंचायत श्रीमती रेना जमील, अपर कलेक्टर श्री इंद्रजीत बर्मन, उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री अमित श्रीवास्तव, संयुक्त कलेक्टर, डिप्टी कलेक्टर एवं निर्वाचन संबंधित नोडल अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

Balrampur - Under the chairmanship of Collector and District Election Officer Shri Remijius Ekka, a meeting was organized in the conference room of the Joint District Office regarding the preparations for the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024. In the meeting, Collector Shri Ekka instructed all the officers to work as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India for free, fair and peaceful elections. Taking information about the training program being given to officers and employees regarding the voting process, he said that training should be given as per the guidelines received from the Election Commission. He reviewed all the basic facilities in the polling stations, formation of polling teams, distribution and return of election material, route chart, availability of vehicles, control room, complaint branch, etc. and gave necessary instructions to the concerned nodal officers. Taking information regarding EDC and postal ballot, the Collector asked the employees engaged in election work to provide information after assessing the employees for issuing postal ballot and EDC. He instructed the checking posts of inter-state borders to keep a constant vigil and the Udnasta team, static surveillance team, video observation team, video surveillance team, C-VIGIL and MCMC team to work alert, alert and proactively. Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Mrs. Rena Jamil, Additional Collector Mr. Inderjit Burman, Deputy District Election Officer Mr. Amit Srivastava, Joint Collector, Deputy Collector and election related nodal officers were present in the meeting.
