बलरामपुर - जिले में शत-प्रतिशत मतदान के लिए मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत विभिन्न कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। जिससे कोई भी पात्र मतदाता इस लोकतंत्र में महापर्व से वंचित न हो। इसी कड़ी में पण्डो क्षेत्र समुदाय में मतदाताओं को मतदान के लिए स्वीप के माध्यम से जागरूक किया जा रहा है। जिले के अंतर्गत ग्राम वीरेन्द्रनगर, बिजाकुरा, बेलसर, रघुनाथनगर में पंडो जनजाति की महिलाओं के द्वारा अपने समुदाय के बीच मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम अंतर्गत विभिन्न गतिविधियां आयोजित की गई। महिलाओं के द्वारा मेरा वोट मेरा अधिकार पोस्टर के साथ रैली निकाली गई। साथ ही मेंहदी एवं रंगोली प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से मतदाताओं को जागरूक करने का प्रयास किया गया। इसमें महिलाआंे ने बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया तथा मतदाताओं को शपथ दिलाते हुए मतदान करने के फायदों के बारे में बताया गया कि मतदान करने से आप अपने लिए सही और योग्य नेता चुनने का अधिकार प्राप्त करते हैं। आपके मत से पसंदीदा प्रत्याशी को चुन कर सही दिशा में विकास को प्रोत्साहित कर सकते हैं। मतदान करने से सामाजिक जागरूकता बढ़ती है। वहीं आप मतदान करने से सामाज सशक्तिकरण होता है, जिसमें विभिन्न वर्गों के लोगों का समान रूप से मतदान में भागीदारी लेने का समान अवसर मिलता है। मतदान करके अपने मताधिकार की शक्ति का उपयोग करते कर सामाजिक परिवर्तन में योगदान कर सकते हैं। जिससे सामाजिक एकता बढ़ती है और आप अपने अपने एक वोट के महत्त्व को समझते हुए देश के निर्माण में सहयोग कर एक अच्छे नागरिक होने का परिचय दे सकते हैं।
