बेमेतरा - लोक आम निर्वाचन-2024 में मतदान का प्रतिशत बढ़ाने के लिए कलेक्टर ज़िला प्रशासन ने एक और नया प्रयोग किया है। इसके तहत कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री रणबीर शर्मा ने ज़िले के तीनो विधानसभा क्षेत्र 68 साजा,69 बेमेतरा और 70 नवगढ़ के 7 लाख मतदाताओं को नेवता पाती (निमंत्रण पत्र) और अपील पाती भेजकर परिवार, ईस्ट- मित्र सहित आस, पड़ौस सहित मतदाताओं को लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 में आगामी 7 मई को मतदान करने के लिए प्रेरित कर रहे है। कलेक्टर ने पाती के ज़रिए लोकतंत्र के पर्व को सफल बनाने के लिए बिना भय, और लालच के शत-प्रतिशत करने की अपील की है।लोकतंत्र के इस महायज्ञ से जुड़ने के लिए कलेक्टर की पाती इस बार ज़िले के तक़रीबन 7 लाख मतदाताओं तक पहुँच रही हैं। विभिन्न प्रचार माध्यमों के जरिये भी मतदाताओं को आने वाली 7 मई को मतदान करने जागरूक किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने जिले के सभी मतदाताओं से मतदान की अपील की। जिले की तीनों विधानसभा क्षेत्र के मतदान के दिन मतदाताओं को मतदान करने बुलाने के लिए कलेक्टर की पाती (पत्र) जारी किया गया है। मतदाता जागरूकता को लेकर इस बार सोशल मीडिया के अलावा कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी की और से मतदाताओं को हिन्दी और छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में नेवता पाती और मनुहार भेज कर मतदान करने का निमंत्रण दिया जा रहा है। निष्पक्ष मतदान की जानकारी देने के साथ ही मतदाताओं को प्रेरित करने के लिए मतदाता सूची में दर्ज मोबाइल नंबर पर संदेश भेजने का काम स्वीप गतिविधि के तहत शुरू किया जाएगा। संसदीय क्षेत्र-7 दुर्ग जिले की तीनों विधानसभा क्षेत्र के 7 लाख 69 हज़ार 502 मतदाताओं की लोकसभा सांसद चुनने में विधानसभा क्षेत्र साजा, बेमेतरा और नवागढ़ के युवा मतदाताओं की भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रहेगी। आगामी 7 मई को जिले के तीनों विधानसभा क्षेत्र के 769522 अपने मतदान का प्रयोग करेंगे। जिसमें पुरुष मतदाता 387229 और महिला मतदाता 382289 है।
