गरियाबंद - जिले में लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न कराने के उद्देश्य से जिले में तैयारियां शुरू हो चुकी है। कलेक्टर श्री दीपक अग्रवाल ने मतदान पूर्व सभी आवश्यक व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए है। उन्होंने भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशानुसार जिले के प्रत्येक मतदान केन्द्रों में सभी सुविधाएं विकसित करने को कहा है। इसी तारतम्य में कलेक्टर श्री अग्रवाल ने आज सभी एसडीएम, जनपद सीईओ, सीएमओ, स्वास्थ्य एवं अन्य विभागीय अधिकारियों की बैठक ली। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को सभी मतदान केंद्रों का भौतिक निरीक्षण कर न्यूनतम सुविधाएं के तहत पीने का पानी, प्रतीक्षा शेड, दिव्यांग मतदाताओं के अनुकूल शौचालय, प्रकाश की पर्याप्त व्यवस्था, दिव्यांग मतदाताओं के लिए उचित ढाल का स्थायी रैंप और निर्धारित मानकों के अनुसार मतदान कक्ष निर्मित करने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही आपातकालीन स्वास्थ्य स्थितियों से निपटने के लिए जरूरी दवाइयों से युक्त मेडिकल किट बनाकर सभी मतदान केंद्रों में उपलब्ध करवाने के निर्देश स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए। कलेक्टर ने कहा कि आयोग के निर्देशानुसार मतदान दिवस में शिशुवती एवं गर्भवती महिलाओं को बिना लाइन में लगे मतदान करने की सुविधा मिलेगी। जिससे उनको मतदान करने में सहूलियत होगी।  इस दौरान बैठक में अपर कलेक्टर श्री अरविंद पांडे, उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री राकेश गोलछा सहित अन्य अधिकारीगण मौजूद रहे। कलेक्टर श्री अग्रवाल ने बैठक में दिव्यांग, वृद्धजन एवं निःशक्त मतदाताओं हेतु प्रत्येक मतदान केन्द्र पर अच्छी हालत की पर्याप्त संख्या में व्हील चेयर की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने के भी निर्देश दिए। कलेक्टर ने कहा कि दिव्यांग मतदाताओं की सुविधा के दृष्टिगत प्रत्येक मतदान केंद्र भूतल पर व्यवस्था की जाए। साथ ही मतदान केंद्र भवन तक पहुंचने के लिए अच्छी स्थिति में पहुंच योग्य सड़क सुनिश्चित की जाए। खराब सड़को एवं पहुंच मार्गों का आवश्यक मरम्मत कर ली जाए।

In this context, Collector Shri Aggarwal today held a meeting of all the SDMs, District CEO, CMO, Health and other departmental officers. He asked the officials to physically inspect all the polling stations and construct minimum facilities like drinking water, waiting shed, toilets suitable for disabled voters, adequate lighting, permanent ramp of appropriate slope for disabled voters and polling booths as per the prescribed standards. Gave instructions. Besides, instructions were given to the Health Department officials to prepare medical kits containing necessary medicines to deal with emergency health situations and make them available in all the polling stations. The Collector said that as per the instructions of the Commission, infant and pregnant women will get the facility to vote without standing in line on the voting day. Which will make it easier for them to vote. During this, Additional Collector Mr. Arvind Pandey, Deputy District Election Officer Mr. Rakesh Golchha and other officials were present in the meeting. Collector Shri Aggarwal also gave instructions in the meeting to ensure availability of adequate number of wheel chairs in good condition at every polling station for disabled, elderly and handicapped voters. The Collector said that for the convenience of disabled voters, arrangements should be made on the ground floor of every polling station. Also, an accessible road in good condition should be ensured to reach the polling station building. Necessary repairs of bad roads and access roads should be done.
