मुंगेली - लोकसभा निर्वाचन में शतप्रतिशत मतदान के लिए वृहद स्तर पर जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जाएगा। इस दौरान लोगों को लोकतंत्र में सहभागिता के लिए प्रेरित किया जायेगा। कलेक्टर श्री राहुल देव ने जिला कलेक्टोरेट स्थित मनियारी सभाकक्ष में स्वीप कोर कमेटी के सदस्यों की बैठक ली और जागरूकता अभियान चलाने आवश्यक निर्देश दिए। कलेक्टर ने कहा कि घर-घर जाकर मतदाताओं को शतप्रतिशत मतदान के लिए प्रेरित करना है। इस हेतु तीन दिवस के भीतर कार्ययोजना बनाकर सभी अधिकारी प्रस्तुत करें। पंचायत स्तर पर सचिव, रोजगार सहायक, आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता, सहायिका, मितानिन, महिला समूह और कोटवार की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है, उनके माध्यम से लोगों को शतप्रतिशत मतदान के लिए जागरूक किया जाए। कलेक्टर ने ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में सभी जनपद सीईओ और शहरी क्षेत्रों में सभी सीएमओ को शतप्रतिशत मतदान सुनिश्चित करने हेतु स्वीप गतिविधि चलाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे मतदान केन्द्र जहां मतदान प्रतिशत जिले के औसत से कम है, वहां दीवार लेखन, बैनर, पोस्टर, नुक्कड़, नाटक, संगीत के माध्यम से मतदाताओं को जागरूक किया जाए। उन्होंने दिव्यागंजनों और वनांचल क्षेत्रों में निवासरत लोगों के लिए भी विशेष अभियान चलाने, महाविद्यालयों में निबंध-लेखन, वाद-विवाद, रंगांली, चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता आयोजित करने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही कहा कि विभिन्न व्यापारी संघ, सामुदायिक सहभागिता, एनसीसी कैडेट्स, स्काउट गाइड आदि के माध्यम से मतदान के लिए लोगों को प्रेरित किया जाए। कलेक्टर ने कहा कि विभिन्न विभाग के अमले ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में कार्यरत हैं, उनके माध्यम से भी लोगों को जागरूक किया जाए। शासकीय भवनों में मतदाता जागरूकता पोस्टर लगाया जाए। कलेक्टर ने मतदान केंद्रों में मूलभूत सुविधाओं के साथ पेयजल एवं छाया हेतु आवश्यक व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। अपर कलेक्टर श्रीमती निष्ठा पाण्डेय तिवारी ने कहा कि जहां मतदान प्रतिशत कम है, उसमें ज्यादा कार्य करने की जरूरत है। जिला स्तर के अधिकारी वहां स्वयं जाकर स्वीप गतिविधि का अवलोकन करें और शत प्रतिशत मतदान के लिए सभी अधिकारी जिम्मेदारीपूर्वक कार्य करें।

Collector Shri Rahul Dev held a meeting of the Sweep Core Committee members in the Maniyari meeting room at the District Collectorate and gave necessary instructions to run the awareness campaign. The Collector said that voters have to go door to door to motivate them for 100% voting. For this, all the officers should prepare an action plan and present it within three days. At the Panchayat level, Secretary, Employment Assistant, Anganwadi worker, Sahayika, Mitanin, Mahila Group and Kotwar have an important role, through them people should be made aware for 100% voting. The Collector instructed all district CEOs in rural areas and all CMOs in urban areas to conduct sweep activities to ensure 100 percent voting. He said that in such polling stations where the voting percentage is less than the average of the district, voters should be made aware through wall writing, banners, posters, street corners, drama and music. He also gave instructions to run special campaigns for disabled people and people living in forest areas, and to organize essay-writing, debate, theater and painting competitions in colleges. Also said that people should be motivated to vote through various business associations, community participation, NCC cadets, scout guides etc. The Collector said that the employees of various departments are working in rural areas, people should be made aware through them also. Voter awareness posters should be put up in government buildings. The Collector directed to ensure necessary arrangements for drinking water and shade along with basic facilities in the polling stations. Additional Collector Mrs. Nishtha Pandey Tiwari said that more work needs to be done in areas where the voting percentage is low. District level officers should personally go there and observe the sweep activity and all the officers should work responsibly for 100 percent voting.
