बालाघाट - कलेक्टर व जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ. गिरीश कुमार मिश्रा ने समस्त थाना क्षेत्रों में प्रपत्र-3 व प्रपत्र-5 में जारी किए गए शस्त्र लाइसेंस का निर्वाचन में दुरुपयोग होने की सम्भावनाओं को देखते हुए समस्त शस्त्र लाइसेंस निलंबित किये है। आयुध अधिनियम-1959 की धारा-17 की उपधारा 3 के तहत जारी आदेशनुसार ऐसे अनुज्ञप्ति धारक जिनका किसी व्यक्ति विशेष से जान माल का खतरा बना रहता तथा जिन्हें शस्त्र पास रखना अनिवार्य है। शस्त्र रखने की अनुमति के लिए नोडल अधिकारी अपर कलेक्टर श्री जीएस धुर्वे को बनाया गया है। साथ ही यह आदेश बैंक, पुलिस, राजस्व अधिकारियों केश वेन में लगे सुरक्षागार्ड व अन्य अत्यावश्यक सेवाओं के सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए उन पर लागू नही होगा।
Arms license suspended with immediate effect
Balaghat - Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Girish Kumar Mishra has suspended all the arms licenses issued in Form-3 and Form-5 in all the police station areas in view of the possibility of them being misused in the elections. According to the order issued under sub-section 3 of section 17 of the Arms Act-1959, such license holders who face danger to life and property from any particular person and who are required to possess weapons. Additional Collector Mr. GS Dhurve has been made the nodal officer for permission to possess weapons. Also, this order will not be applicable to banks, police, revenue officers, security guards deployed in cash vans and other essential services keeping in mind the security of them.
