अम्बिकापुर त्यौहारों को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए नकली खोवा तथा गुणवत्ताहीन मिठाई की बिक्री बढ़ने की आशंका रहती है जिसमें सीमावर्ती राज्यों से मिलावटी खोवा, मावा कुन्दा इत्यादि खाद्य के आपूर्ति होती है। इससे लोगों के स्वास्थ्य पर बुरा असर पड़ सकता है। इसी क्रम में कलेक्टर श्री विलास भोस्कर के मार्गदर्शन में और खाद्य एवं औषधि प्रशासन नियंत्रक के निर्देशानुसार जिला सरगुजा के समस्त मिठाई दुकानों का सतत एवं सघन निरीक्षण किया जा रहा है। मिलावट की आशंका के मद्देनजर वरिष्ठ खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी श्री आर.आर. देवांगन एवं खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी श्री प्रशान्त कुमार तिवारी तथा टीम द्वारा घड़ी चौक के पास स्थित मेसर्स पंचशील स्वीट्स एवं रिंग रोड के पास स्थित मेसर्स दो भाई मिठाई वाले से रसगुल्ला, मेसर्स शिवम स्वीट्स से बेसन लड्डू, मेसर्स कार्तिक होटल से बालू शाही, अंकूर फ्लोर मिल से आटा, मेसर्स संतोष होटल से बेसन लड्डू, मेसर्स रॉय स्वीट्स से पेड़ा का नमूना लेकर परीक्षण एवं विश्लेषण हेतु राज्य खाद्य परीक्षण प्रयोगशाला कालीबाडी रायपुर भेजा गया है। राज्य खाद्य परीक्षण प्रयोगशाला, कालीबाड़ी, रायपुर से परीक्षण एवं विश्लेषण रिपोर्ट प्राप्त होने पर खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम 2006, नियम 2011 के सुसंगत प्रावधानों के अंतर्गत कार्यवाही की जावेगी। साथ ही चलित खाद्य परीक्षण प्रयोगशाला वाहन से अन्य मिष्ठान प्रतिष्ठानों की निरंतर जांच की जा रही है। खाद्य पदार्थों के अमानक पाए जाने पर मौके पर ही खाद्य पदार्थ के विनष्टीकरण की कार्यवाही की जा रही है।

Ambikapur Keeping in view the festivals, there is a possibility of increase in the sale of fake Khowa and low quality sweets in which adulterated Khowa, Mawa Kunda etc. food items are supplied from the border states. This can have a bad effect on people's health. In this sequence, under the guidance of Collector Shri Vilas Bhoskar and as per the instructions of the Food and Drug Administration Controller, continuous and intensive inspection of all the sweet shops of district Surguja is being done. In view of the possibility of adulteration, senior food safety officer Shri R.R. Dewangan and Food Safety Officer Mr. Prashant Kumar Tiwari and team from M/s Panchsheel Sweets located near Ghadi Chowk and Rasgulla from M/s Do Bhai Mithaiwale located near Ring Road, Besan Laddu from M/s Shivam Sweets, Balu Shahi from M/s Karthik Hotel, Ankur Floor. Samples of flour from the mill, gram flour laddu from M/s Santosh Hotel and peda from M/s Roy Sweets have been sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory, Kalibari, Raipur for testing and analysis. On receipt of the test and analysis report from the State Food Testing Laboratory, Kalibari, Raipur, action will be taken under the relevant provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, Rules 2011. Besides, other confectionary establishments are being continuously inspected by mobile food testing laboratory vehicle. If food items are found non-standard, action is being taken to destroy the food items on the spot.
