धमतरी - कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी सुश्री नम्रता गांधी के निर्देश और सीईओ जिला पंचायत तथा स्वीप जिला नोडल अधिकारी सुश्री रोमा श्रीवास्तव के मार्गदर्शन में जिले में लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के तहत चुनाव पर्व में जिले का हर वर्ग के लोग बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा ले रहे हैं। इस दौरान वे अपने रोजमर्रा के कार्यों के साथ ही मतदाताओं को शत्-प्रतिशत मतदान करने की अपील कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा जिला प्रशासन द्वारा आकर्षक नारा-स्लोगन को दर्शाते चौक-चौराहों में होर्डिंग के माध्यम से मतदाताओं जागरूक किया जा रहा है। स्वीप गतिविधियों के तहत आज अनंतदीप महिला क्लस्टर भरदा की महिलाओं ने गांव की गलियों में मतदाता जागरूकता रैली निकाली। इस दौरान महिलाओं ने सशक्त लोकतंत्र में मत का महत्व बताते हुए युवा, बुजुर्ग मतदाताओं को ’चलो कदम आगे बढ़ाएं, शत्-प्रतिशत मतदान से सशक्त लोकतंत्र बनायें’ का नारा लगाते हुए मतदान के लिए प्रेरित किया। जिले के वनांचल मटियाबाहरा, बिलभदर सहित डोंड़की एवं अन्य स्थानों में मनरेगा मजदूरों ने स्वीप गतिविधि के तहत अपने-अपने कार्यस्थल पर मतदान की शपथ ली। शपथ में उन्होंने हम भारत के नागरिक, लोकतंत्र में अपनी पूर्ण आस्था रखते हुए यह शपथ लेते हैं कि हम अपने देश की लोकतांत्रिक परम्पराओं की मर्यादा को बनाए रखेंगे तथा स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष एवं शांतिपूर्ण निर्वाचन की गरिमा को अक्षुण्ण रखते हुए निर्भीक होकर, धर्म, वर्ग, जाति, समुदाय, भाषा अथवा अन्य किसी भी प्रलोभन से प्रभावित हुए बिना सभी निर्वाचनों में अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने की शपथ ली। इस दौरान उन्होंने कहा कि मतदान आपका हक है और जिम्मेदारी भी, अपने मताधिकार का उपयोग कीजिए और अपना वोट जरूर दीजिए तथा चुनाव का पर्व देश का गर्व है।
