कवर्धा - कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री जनमेजय महोबे ने लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के स्वत्रंत, निष्पक्ष एवं शांतिपूर्व लोकसभा निर्वाचन कार्य के सुचारू संपादन के लिए नोडल अधिकारियों की बैठक ली। कलेक्टर श्री महोबे ने कहा कि भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के दिशा-निर्देशानुसार स्वतंत्र एवं निष्पक्ष निर्वाचन के लिए सभी नोडल अधिकारी सौंपे गए दायित्वों को गंभीरतापूर्वक करेंगे। लोकसभा निर्वाचन अंतर्गत नाम निर्देशन, मतदाता सूची, मानवीय संसाधन की व्यवस्था पोस्टल बैलेट जैसे सभी महत्वपूर्ण कार्य समय पर हो जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने निर्वाचन के दौरान गर्भवती महिलाओं, दिव्यांग कर्मचारियों की ड्यूटी नहीं लगाने के निर्देश दिए। कलेक्टर ने कहा कि निर्वाचन के दौरान कोई भी अधिकारी-कर्मचारी अनावश्यक अवकाश नहीं लेंगे। निर्वाचन के महत्वपूर्ण कार्य सजगता एवं सक्रियतापूर्वक करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि मतदान कार्य में लगे अधिकारी-कर्मचारियों के ठहरने की अच्छी व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए। मतदान केन्द्रों में पेयजल, प्रकाश, छांव, रैम्प, साफ-सफाई, उपचार सहित अन्य बुनियादी सुविधाएं होनी चाहिए। कलेक्टर श्री जनमेजय महोबे ने कहा कि आदर्श आचार संहिता के दौरान सभी अधिकारी समन्वित तरीके से कार्य करेंगे। स्थैतिक निगरानी दल, उडऩदस्ता दल, वीडियो निगरानी दल, वीडियो अवलोकन टीम के दल के कार्यों की लगातार मानिटरिंग करें। उन्होंने निर्वाचन सामग्री वितरण एवं मतदान दलों की रवानगी एवं अन्य महत्वपूर्ण कार्य के संबंध में चर्चा की। उन्होंने कहा कि आदर्श आचार संहिता के लिए प्रतिबंधात्मक कार्रवाई के साथ ही संवदेनशील एवं अतिसंवेदनशील मतदान केन्द्रों का चिन्हांकन तथा सुरक्षाकर्मियों की नियुक्ति आवश्यक है। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने वाहन की व्यवस्था ईटीपीबीएस संबंधित कार्य, वेबकास्टिंग, प्रशिक्षण, ईवीएम-वीवीपेट की उपलब्धता, सी-विजिल, मतदान सामग्री वितरण एवं मतदान दलों की वापसी, निर्वाचन के दौरान कंट्रोल रूम, चिकित्सकीय दल, मीडिया प्रमाणन एवं अनुवीक्षण, पेड न्यूज, मीडिया सेल के संबंध में जानकारी ली।

Collector Shri Mahobe said that as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, all the nodal officers will seriously carry out the assigned responsibilities for free and fair elections. He instructed that pregnant women and disabled employees should not be put on duty during the elections. The Collector said that no officer or employee will take unnecessary leave during the elections. Important election tasks will be carried out alertly and actively. He said that there should be good arrangements for the accommodation of officers and employees engaged in polling work. Polling stations should have drinking water, light, shade, ramp, cleanliness, treatment and other basic facilities. Collector Shri Janmejay Mahobe said that during the Model Code of Conduct, all the officers will work in a coordinated manner. He discussed regarding distribution of election material and departure of polling parties and other important work. He said that along with restrictive action, identification of sensitive and hypersensitive polling stations and appointment of security personnel is necessary for the Model Code of Conduct.
