भोपाल - जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री कौशलेंद्र विक्रम सिंह की अध्यक्षता में बुधवार को कलेक्ट्रेट सभागार में लोकसभा निर्वाचन - 2024 के लिए नोडल अधिकारियों एवं स्वीप गतिविधियों के संचालन को लेकर बैठक हुई। बैठक में जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री कौशलेंद्र विक्रम सिंह ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र की मजबूती के लिए मतदान अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है इसलिए संबंधित विभाग समन्वय के साथ स्वीप गतिविधियों का आयोजन कर जिले के मतदान प्रतिशत बढ़ाने में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएं। उन्होंने पूर्व के निर्वाचनों में कम मतदान प्रतिशत वाले मतदाता केन्द्रों को सूचीबद्ध कर बूथ स्तर पर स्वीप गतिविधियों के संचालन की कार्ययोजना बनाने के भी निर्देश दिए। जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने लोकसभा निर्वाचन- 2024 के लिए गठित विभिन्न प्रकोष्ठों के प्रभारी व सहायक प्रभारी अधिकारियों को संबंधित प्रकोष्ठ की चुनाव संबंधित गतिविधियों के सुचारू संचालन के निर्देश दिये। बैठक में जिला पंचायत सीईओ श्री ऋतुराज सिंह, नगर निगम कमिश्नर श्री हरेन्द्र नारायण, एडीएम श्री हिमांशु चन्द्र, श्री हर्षल पंचोली, अपर कलेक्टर श्री अंकुर मेश्राम सहित सभी संयुक्त कलेक्टर एसडीएम एवं अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

Sweep program should be conducted for voter awareness - Collector

Bhopal - Under the chairmanship of District Election Officer Shri Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, a meeting was held on Wednesday in the Collectorate Auditorium regarding the conduct of nodal officers and sweep activities for the Lok Sabha Elections - 2024. In the meeting, District Election Officer Shri Kaushalendra Vikram Singh said that voting is very important for strengthening democracy, hence the concerned departments should play an important role in increasing the voting percentage of the district by organizing sweep activities in coordination. He also directed to prepare an action plan for conducting sweep activities at the booth level by listing the voter centers with low voting percentage in the previous elections. The District Election Officer gave instructions to the in-charge and assistant in-charge officers of various cells formed for the Lok Sabha Elections- 2024 for the smooth conduct of election related activities of the concerned cell. District Panchayat CEO Mr. Rituraj Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Harendra Narayan, ADM Mr. Himanshu Chandra, Mr. Harshal Pancholi, Additional Collector Mr. Ankur Meshram and all the Joint Collectors, SDM and other officers were present in the meeting.
