वृद्धाश्रम में हुआ मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन aayojan Aaj Tak 24 News 

कांकेर - कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री अभिजीत सिंह के निर्देश पर जिला पंचायत के सीईओ एवं स्वीप के नोडल अधिकारी श्री सुमित अग्रवाल के मार्गदर्शन में आज मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत ग्राम-नंदनमारा स्थित वृद्धाश्रम में वृद्धजन सम्मान समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। वरिष्ठजनों की मतदान में शत प्रतिशत सहभागिता के उद्देश्य से स्वीप के तहत आयोजित कार्यक्रम में ईव्हीएम एवं व्ही.व्ही.पैट मशीन का प्रदर्शन कर मतदान की प्रक्रिया के बारे में बताया गया। कार्यक्रम में बूथ लेवल अधिकारी द्वारा मतदान केन्द्रों में वृद्धजनों के लिए दी जाने वाली सुविधाओं के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। इस दौरान वृद्धाश्रम के वरिष्ठ मतदाताओं का शाल एवं श्रीफल देकर सम्मानित भी किया गया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में सभी वरिष्ठजनों को अनिवार्य रूप मतदान करने हेतु शपथ दिलाई गई। इस अवसर पर समाज कल्याण विभाग की उपसंचालक श्रीमती क्षमा शर्मा, जनपद पंचायत के सीईओ श्री अश्वनी यादव सहित वरिष्ठजन उपस्थित थे। इसके अलावा जिला कार्यालय में भी ईव्हीएम एवं व्ही.व्ही.पैट प्रदर्शित की गई है, जहां आम नागरिकों को वोट डालने की प्रक्रिया की जानकारी दी जा रही है।

Voter awareness program organized in old age home

Kanker - On the instructions of Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Abhijeet Singh, under the guidance of District Panchayat CEO and Sweep's Nodal Officer Mr. Sumit Aggarwal, today an old age honor ceremony was organized in the old age home located in village Nandanmara under the voter awareness program. In order to ensure 100% participation of senior citizens in voting, in the program organized under SWEEP, EVM and VVPAT machines were demonstrated and the process of voting was explained. In the program, information was given by the booth level officer about the facilities provided to the elderly in the polling stations. During this, senior voters of the old age home were also honored by giving them shawls and quinces. At the end of the program, an oath was administered to all the seniors to vote compulsorily. On this occasion, Deputy Director of Social Welfare Department, Mrs. Kshama Sharma, CEO of District Panchayat, Mr. Ashwani Yadav and senior people were present. Apart from this, EVM and VVPAT have also been displayed in the district office, where common citizens are being informed about the process of voting.
