बलरामपुर - कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री रिमिजियुस एक्का ने समय-सीमा की बैठक लेकर लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के संबंध में आवश्यक निर्देश दिए। बैठक में कलेक्टर श्री एक्का ने कहा कि जिले में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के कार्यक्रमों की घोषणा के साथ ही आदर्श आचरण संहिता प्रभावशील हो गई है। उन्होंने इसका कड़ाई से पालन करने को कहा। कलेक्टर ने कहा कि आदर्श आचरण संहिता लागू होते ही भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशानुसार जिले में प्रतिबंधात्मक आदेश जारी कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने आयोग के दिशा-निर्देशानुसार स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष एवं शांतिपूर्ण निर्वाचन के लिए सभी अधिकारियों को सौंपे गए दायित्वों का जिम्मेदारीपूर्वक निर्वहन करने को कहा। बैठक में कलेक्टर श्री एक्का ने मतदान केंद्रों के संबंध में जानकारी लेते हुए कहा कि मतदान केन्द्रों में पेयजल, प्रकाश, बाउंड्रीवाल, छांव, रैंप, व्हीलचेयर, साफ-सफाई, उपचार सहित अन्य बुनियादी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होनी चाहिए। साथ ही उन्होंने अनुविभागीय अधिकारियों को मतदान केन्द्रों का निरीक्षण कर रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए। कलेक्टर ने संबंधित अधिकारियों को सभा, रैली की अनुमति देने में विशेष ध्यान देने के निर्देश भी दिए। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने व्हील चेयर की उपलब्धता के संबंध में आवश्यक निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि मतदान दिवस दिव्यांगों को किसी भी प्रकार असुविधा न हो इसका विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए। कलेक्टर श्री एक्का ने जिले में लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 की प्रक्रिया को निर्भीक एवं निष्पक्ष रूप से संपन्न कराने के लिए सजगता एवं सक्रियता पूर्वक कार्य करने को कहा। उन्होंने कहा कि बलरामपुर जिला अंतर्राज्यीय सीमा से लगा हुआ है, जहां से अवैध परिवहन की संभावना रहती है। इसके लिए सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में स्थापित चेकपोस्टों में सतत् निगरानी तथा पारदर्शिता के साथ कार्य करने के निर्देश दिये। बैठक में जिला पंचायत सीईओ श्रीमती रेना जमील, अपर कलेक्टर श्री इंद्रजीत बर्मन, डिप्टी कलेक्टर, अनुविभागीय अधिकारी रा. सहित सभी विभागीय अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

Collector gave necessary instructions for smooth conduct of Lok Sabha elections 2024

Balrampur - Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Remijius Ekka held a meeting regarding the time limit and gave necessary instructions regarding the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In the meeting, Collector Shri Ekka said that the Model Code of Conduct has become effective in the district with the announcement of the programs for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 by the Election Commission of India. He asked to follow it strictly. The Collector said that as soon as the Model Code of Conduct came into force, restrictive orders have been issued in the district as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India. He asked all officials to responsibly discharge their assigned responsibilities for free, fair and peaceful elections as per the guidelines of the Commission. In the meeting, Collector Shri Ekka, while taking information regarding polling stations, said that drinking water, lighting, boundary wall, shade, ramp, wheelchair, cleanliness, treatment and other basic facilities should be available in the polling stations. He also instructed the sub-divisional officers to inspect the polling stations and submit reports. The Collector also instructed the concerned officials to pay special attention in granting permission for meetings and rallies. Along with this, while giving necessary instructions regarding the availability of wheel chairs, he said that special care should be taken to ensure that the disabled people do not face any inconvenience on the voting day. Collector Shri Ekka asked to work alertly and actively to conduct the process of Lok Sabha elections 2024 in the district fearlessly and fairly. He said that Balrampur district is adjacent to the interstate border, from where there is a possibility of illegal transportation. For this, instructions were given to work with continuous monitoring and transparency in the check posts established in the border areas. In the meeting, District Panchayat CEO Mrs. Rena Jamil, Additional Collector Mr. Inderjit Burman, Deputy Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer Ra. Including all departmental officers were present.
