कोरिया - कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री विनय कुमार लंगेह के मार्गदर्शन में जिले में स्वीप अंतर्गत व्यापक तौर पर मतदाता जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। जिला पंचायत सीईओ एवं स्वीप नोडल डॉ. आशुतोष चतुर्वेदी के निर्देशन में शत प्रतिशत मतदान के लिए विभिन्न कार्यक्रम एवं गतिविधियों का आयोजन बैकुंठपुर व सोनहत विकासखण्ड के गांवों में किया जा रहा है। इसी कड़ी में जनपद पंचायत, सोनहत के ग्राम पंचायत सलगंवा कला तथा रजौली में महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी (मनरेगा) के तहत कार्यरत श्रमिकों ने बड़ी संख्या में मतदान करने की शपथ ली। यहां कार्यरत नन्दलाल राजवाड़े, सुरेंद्र राजवाड़े, रामकरण व जयकरन ने कहा कि हमारे जिले व देश के विकास के लिए मतदान जरूरी है और सभी मतदाता भाई-बहन मतदान अवश्य करें। कलेक्टर श्री लंगेह ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र के सबसे बड़े महादान मतदान में सबकी सहभागिता जरूरी है। उन्होंने नए व युवा मतदाताओं से कहा है कि जिस तरह जागरूक समाज के लिए शिक्षा का होना जरूरी है, उसी तरह स्वस्थ लोकतंत्र व देश के विकास के लिए मतदान आवश्यक है। उन्होंने युवाओं से आव्हान किया कि स्वयं मतदान करें व अपने आसपास के मतदाताओं को मतदान के लिए प्रेरित भी करें। जनपद पंचायत, सोनहत के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी मनोज सिंह जगत ने बताया कि लोकसभा निर्वाचन में सभी वर्गों के लोगों को मतदान करने के लिए मतदाता जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है ताकि जनपद पंचायत सोनहत में मतदान का प्रतिशत बढ़ सके।

Nandlal Rajwade, Surendra Rajwade, Ramkaran and Jayakaran working here said that voting is necessary for the development of our district and country and all voter brothers and sisters must vote. Collector Shri Langeh said that it is necessary for everyone's participation in the biggest Mahadan voting of democracy. He has told the new and young voters that just as education is necessary for an informed society, similarly voting is necessary for a healthy democracy and the development of the country. He appealed to the youth to vote themselves and also motivate the voters around them to vote. Manoj Singh Jagat, Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, Sonhat, said that a voter awareness campaign is being run to encourage all sections of people to vote in the Lok Sabha elections so that the voting percentage can increase in District Panchayat Sonhat.
