मुंगेली - कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री राहुल देव के निर्देशानुसार लोकसभा निर्वाचन में शतप्रतिशत मतदान के लिए मतदाताओं को जागरूक करने आज सायकल रैली का आयोजन किया गया। उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्रीमती मेनका प्रधान ने बताया कि सायकल रैली में शिक्षकों व छात्र-छात्राओं द्वारा स्लोगन ‘‘रखबो मुंगेली के मान, करबो सब्बो झन मतदान’’ के माध्यम से शहर के मतदाताओं को 07 मई को मतदान करने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। साथ ही लोकसभा निर्वाचन में अपनी सहभागिता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए जागरूक किया गया। सहायक रिटर्निंग आफिसर एवं एसडीएम मुंगेली श्रीमती पार्वती पटेल ने स्वामी आत्मानंद अंग्रेजी माध्यम स्कूल दाउपारा से सायकल रैली को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। रैली लोरमी बायपास से पुराना बस स्टैण्ड व सामुदायिक भवन होते हुए वापस स्वामी आत्मानंद अंग्रेजी माध्यम स्कूल दाउपारा में आकर समाप्त हुई। रैली के समापन में शिक्षकों एवं छात्र-छात्राओं को लोकतंत्र में पूर्ण आस्था रखते हुए निर्भीक होकर बिना किसी प्रलोभन के स्वतंत्र एवं निष्पक्ष मतदान करने की शपथ दिलाई गई। इस दौरान डिप्टी कलेक्टर श्री अजय शतरंज, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी श्री सी. के. घृतलहरे, डीएमसी श्री ओ. पी. कौशिक सहित बीईओ, स्कूल के प्राचार्य, शिक्षकगण और बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं मौजूद रहे।

Deputy District Election Officer Mrs. Maneka Pradhan said that in the cycle rally, the voters of the city were motivated to vote on May 07 through the slogan "Rakhbo Mungeli ke Maan, Karbo Sabbo Jhan Voting" by teachers and students. . Also, awareness was created to ensure their participation in the Lok Sabha elections. Assistant Returning Officer and SDM Mungeli Mrs. Parvati Patel flagged off the cycle rally from Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Daupara. The rally returned from Lormi Bypass via the old bus stand and community hall and ended at Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Daupara. At the conclusion of the rally, an oath was administered to the teachers and students to vote fearlessly, free and fair, without any inducement, with full faith in democracy. During this, Deputy Collector Mr. Ajay Shatranj, District Education Officer Mr. C.K. Ghritalhare, DMC Shri O. P. Kaushik including BEO, school principal, teachers and a large number of students were present.
