कोरबा - जिला स्तरीय शांति समिति की बैठक गुरूवार को कलेक्टोरेट सभा कक्ष में कलेक्टर श्री अजीत वसंत के निर्देशन में तथा अपर कलेक्टर श्री दिनेश कुमार नाग, श्री अनुपम तिवारी, अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री यू. बी. एस. चौहान तथा समिति के सदस्य की उपस्थिति में आयोजित हुई। बैठक में कोरबा जिले के परंपरा अनुरूप शांति एवं सौहार्द पूर्ण तरीके से होली पर्व, ईद-उल-फितर, रामनवमी तथा गुड फ्राइडे मनाने की अपील की गई। लोकसभा चुनाव के मद्देनजर आचार संहिता प्रभावशील होने के साथ ही धारा 144 लागू है। किसी भी पर्व को राजनैतिक रूप से ना मनाया जाए। सभी प्रकार के आयोजनों तथा रैली, जुलुस, डीजे के लिए संबंधित एसडीएम से अनुमति अनिवार्य रूप से लिया जाए। होली में हर्बल रंगों का उपयोग करने के साथ ही अनावश्यक किसी पर रंग ना डाला जाए। उपद्रव, हुल्लड़बाजी, जबरन रंग डालने वालों, सड़क पर होलिका दहन करने वालों एवं तीन सवारी वाहन चलाने वालों, मुखौटा लगाकर हुटिंग करने वालों पर निगरानी रखने के साथ ही कड़ी कार्यवाही की जाए। कलेक्टोरेट सभा कक्ष में आयोजित बैठक में शांति समिति के सदस्यों ने होली त्यौहार मिल-जुल कर और सदभाव के साथ मनाने का निर्णय लिया। अपर कलेक्टर ने कहा कि यह पर्व आपसी भाईचारे का है। उन्होंने इन सभी पर्वों को शांतिपूर्वक और सुरक्षित रूप से मनाने के लिए जिलेवासियों से सहयोग की भी अपेक्षा की है। इस बैठक में समाज प्रमुख, गणमान्य नागरिक और अधिकारीगण शामिल हुए। बैठक में बताया गया कि 24 मार्च को होलिका दहन खुले स्थानों पर ही किया जा सकेगा। बिजली के ट्रांसफार्मरों और तारों के नीचे होलिका दहन नहीं करने के निर्देश दिए। शांति समिति की बैठक में किसी भी अप्रिय घटना को रोकने के लिए पुलिस विभाग को लगातार पेट्रोलिंग की व्यवस्था करने के निर्देश दिए। दमकल एवं आपातकालीन चिकित्सा व्यवस्था को चौकन्ना एवं मुस्तैद रहने के निर्देश दिए। चिन्हांकित स्थानों पर अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल की व्यवस्था करने को कहा गया है। त्योहारों के दौरान किसी भी अप्रिय घटना की सूचना पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम में देने की भी अपील आमजनों से की गई है।

Korba - District level peace committee meeting was held on Thursday in the Collectorate meeting room under the direction of Collector Mr. Ajit Vasant and Additional Collector Mr. Dinesh Kumar Nag, Mr. Anupam Tiwari, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. U. B. S. Held in the presence of Chauhan and committee members. In the meeting, an appeal was made to celebrate Holi festival, Eid-ul-Fitr, Ram Navami and Good Friday in a peaceful and harmonious manner as per the tradition of Korba district. With the Model Code of Conduct coming into effect in view of the Lok Sabha elections, Section 144 is in force. No festival should be celebrated politically. For all types of events and rallies, processions, DJs, permission must be taken from the concerned SDM. Along with using herbal colors in Holi, colors should not be put on anything unnecessary. Along with keeping a vigil, strict action should be taken against those who create nuisance, hooliganism, forced coloring, those who burn Holika on the road, those who drive three passenger vehicles and those who hoot wearing masks. In the meeting held in the Collectorate meeting room, the members of the Peace Committee decided to celebrate the Holi festival together and with harmony. Additional Collector said that this festival is about mutual brotherhood. He has also expected cooperation from the people of the district to celebrate all these festivals peacefully and safely. Society heads, distinguished citizens and officials participated in this meeting. It was told in the meeting that Holika Dahan can be done only in open places on March 24. Instructions were given not to burn Holika under electrical transformers and wires. In the Peace Committee meeting, the Police Department was instructed to make arrangements for continuous patrolling to prevent any untoward incident. Fire brigade and emergency medical system were instructed to remain alert and ready. It has been asked to arrange additional police force at the identified places. An appeal has also been made to the general public to report any untoward incident during festivals to the police control room.
