बालोद - कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री इन्द्रजीत सिंह चन्द्रवाल और पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री सूरजनराम भगत ने आज जिले के सुदूर वनांचल के ग्रामों में पहुँचकर मतदान केन्द्रों का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान कलेक्टर एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक ने डौण्डी विकासखण्ड के ग्राम कुमुड़कट्टा एवं डौण्डीलोहारा विकासखण्ड के विभिन्न ग्रामों में पहुँचकर लोकसभा आम निर्वाचन 2024 के अंतर्गत बनाए गए मतदान केन्द्रों में बिजली, पानी, छांव इत्यादि जरूरी व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया। इस अवसर पर कलेक्टर एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक ने गांव के बुजुर्ग मतदाताआंे को शाॅल एवं श्रीफल भेंटकर सम्मान भी किया। इसके अलावा उन्होंने मौके पर उपस्थित मतदाताओं एवं ग्रामीणों को लोकतंत्र में मताधिकार के महत्व की जानकारी देते हुए सभी प्रकार के निर्वाचनों में अनिवार्य रूप से अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने की शपथ भी दिलाई। इस दौरान कलेक्टर एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक ने प्राथमिक शाला कुमुड़कट्टा का निरीक्षण कर व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया। दोनों अधिकारियों ने अध्ययन कक्ष में पहुँचकर अध्यापन व्यवस्थाओं का अवलोकन किया एवं विद्यार्थियों से बातचीत कर अध्ययन-अध्यापन व्यवस्था के संबंध में जानकारी ली। इस दौरान एसडीएम डौण्डी श्री सोनकर, जनपद पंचायत के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी श्री डीडी मण्डले सहित अन्य अधिकारीगण उपस्थित थे।

Balod - Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Inderjit Singh Chandrawal and Superintendent of Police Mr. Suraj Ram Bhagat today reached remote forest villages of the district and inspected the polling stations. During this time, the Collector and Superintendent of Police reached Kumudkatta village of Daundi development block and various villages of Daundilohara development block and took stock of the necessary arrangements like electricity, water, shade etc. in the polling stations made under the Lok Sabha General Election 2024. On this occasion, the Collector and Superintendent of Police also honored the elderly voters of the village by gifting them shawls and quince. Apart from this, he informed the voters and villagers present on the occasion about the importance of franchise in democracy and also administered oath to exercise their franchise compulsorily in all types of elections. During this time, the Collector and Superintendent of Police inspected the primary school Kumudkatta and took stock of the arrangements. Both the officers reached the study room and observed the teaching arrangements and talked to the students and took information regarding the study-teaching arrangements. During this, SDM Daundi Shri Sonkar, Chief Executive Officer of Janpad Panchayat Shri DD Mandle and other officials were present.
