रीवा - लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए 26 अप्रैल को मतदान कराया जायेगा। मतदान के लिए तैनात मतदान कर्मियों को जिला मुख्यालय में 3 केन्द्रों में चुनाव के प्रथम चरण का प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। प्रशिक्षण टीआरएस कालेज, मॉडल साइंस कालेज तथा विधि महाविद्यालय के विभिन्न कक्षों में दिया जा रहा है। टीआरएस कालेज में आयोजित प्रशिक्षण में मतदान कर्मियों को निर्देशित करते हुए कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्रीमती प्रतिभा पाल ने कहा कि पीठासीन अधिकारी तथा मतदान अधिकारी मतदान की महती जिम्मेदारी के लिए तैनात किए जा रहे है। चुनाव प्रशिक्षण में दी गई हर छोटी से छोटी जानकारी को मतदान कर्मी आत्मसात करें। प्रशिक्षण जितनी तन्मयता से प्राप्त किया जाएगा कार्य उतनी ही सुगंमता से होगा। निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशों का भलीभांति अध्ययन कर लें। मतदान प्रक्रिया के संबंध में किसी भी तरह की जिज्ञासा अथवा शंका हो तो उसका समाधान कर लें। मतदान कर्मियों को आयोग के निर्देशों के अनुसार समस्त सुविधाएं दी जायेगी। निर्भय होकर मतदान प्रक्रिया संचालित करें। कलेक्टर ने कहा कि आप में से अधिकांश व्यक्तियों ने विधानसभा चुनाव में मतदान कराया होगा। पुराने अनुभव के साथ नई जानकारियों को भी प्रशिक्षण में आत्मसात करें। ईव्हीएम मशीन के संचालन में पूरी कुशलता प्राप्त कर लें। निर्वाचन कार्य की छोटी सी भूल से बहुत बड़ी समस्या हो जाती है। विधानसभा चुनाव के दौरान आठ पीठासीन अधिकारियों ने मॉकपोल के बाद ईव्हीम का डाटा क्लियर किए बिना मतदान कराया। आयोग के निर्देशों के अनुसार उन्हें निलंबित कर विभागीय जाँच की कार्यवाही की जा रही है। ऐसी स्थिति लोकसभा में निर्मित न हो इसका ध्यान रखें। मतपत्र लेखा पूरी सावधानी से तैयार करें। ईव्हीएम के एड्रेस टैग के नम्बर नोट कर बीयू के एड्रेस टैग से बीयू की और सीयू के एड्रेस टैग से सीयू की सीलिंग करें। मतदान के दौरान भी बीच-बीच में मतदाता रजिस्टर में दर्ज मतदाताओं की संख्या तथा ईव्हीएम में टोटल के बाद दर्शायी संख्या का मिलान करते रहें।

The polling personnel should assimilate every little information given in the election training. The more diligently the training is received, the easier the work will be. Study the instructions of the Election Commission thoroughly. If you have any kind of curiosity or doubt regarding the voting process, get it resolved. All facilities will be provided to the polling personnel as per the instructions of the Commission. Conduct the voting process fearlessly. The Collector said that most of you must have voted in the assembly elections. Along with old experience, assimilate new information in training. Gain complete proficiency in operating the EVM machine. A small mistake in election work can lead to a big problem. During the assembly elections, eight presiding officers conducted the voting without clearing the EVM data after the mock poll. As per the instructions of the Commission, he has been suspended and a departmental inquiry is being conducted. Take care that such a situation does not arise in the Lok Sabha. Prepare the ballot account with utmost care. Note down the numbers of the address tag of EVM and seal the BU with the address tag of BU and seal the CU with the address tag of CU. Even during voting, keep matching the number of voters registered in the voter register and the number shown after the total in the EVM.
