गरियाबंद  कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री दीपक कुमार अग्रवाल ने आज कलेक्टोरेट सभाकक्ष में लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के सुचारू एवं शांतिपूर्ण संचालन के लिए राजस्व एवं पुलिस विभाग के अधिकारियों की संयुक्त बैठक ली। इस अवसर पर वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री अमित तुकाराम काम्बले उपस्थित थे। कलेक्टर श्री दीपक कुमार अग्रवाल ने कहा कि जिले में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 के कार्यक्रमों की घोषणा के साथ ही आदर्श आचरण संहिता प्रभावशील हो गई है। उन्होंने इसका कड़ाई से पालन करने कहा। उन्होंने कहा कि आदर्श आचरण संहिता लागू होते ही भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशानुसार जिले में प्रतिबंधात्मक आदेश जारी कर दिया गया है। कलेक्टर श्री अग्रवाल ने कहा कि भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के दिशा-निर्देशानुसार स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष एवं शांतिपूर्ण  निर्वाचन के लिए सभी अधिकारी सौंपे गए दायित्वों को जिम्मेदारीपूर्वक निर्वहन करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि आदर्श आचरण संहिता की जानकारी सभी अधिकारी को होनी चाहिए। लोकसभा निर्वाचन कार्य के साथ आगामी त्यौहारों होली, ईद-उल-फितर एवं रामनवमी पर्व में कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखना है। उन्होंने कहा कि कानून व्यवस्था के संबंध में किसी भी प्रकार की शिकायत नहीं आनी चाहिए। धार्मिक स्थलों का उपयोग किसी भी रूप में चुनाव प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए नहीं किया जाएगा।  कलेक्टर श्री अग्रवाल ने कहा कि आदर्श आचरण संहिता के साथ ही जिले में धारा 144 प्रभावशील हो गई है, इसका पालन सुनिश्चित कराने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि मतदान कार्य में लगे अधिकारी-कर्मचारियों के ठहरने की अच्छी व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए। मतदान केन्द्रों में पेयजल, प्रकाश, बाउंड्रीवाल, छांव, रैम्प, साफ-सफाई, उपचार सहित अन्य बुनियादी सुविधाएं होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने मतदान केन्द्रों का निरीक्षण कर रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने सभा, रैली की अनुमति देने में विशेष ध्यान देने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने बताया कि पोस्टल बैलेट के अंतर्गत दिव्यांगजनों को होम वोटिंग की सुविधा प्रदान की गई हैं। ऐसे बुजुर्ग मतदाता जो मतदान केन्द्रों तक पहुंचने में सक्षम नहीं होंगे वे भी मतदान कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि आदर्श आचार संहिता लागू होने के बाद कोलाहल नियंत्रण अधिनियम अंतर्गत रात्रि 10 बजे से सुबह 6 बजे तक ध्वनि विस्तार यंत्र प्रतिबंधित रहेगा। वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री काम्बले ने कहा कि जिले में लोकसभा निर्वाचन 2024 की प्रक्रिया को निर्भीक एवं निष्पक्ष रूप से संपन्न कराने कहा। उन्होंने कहा कि निर्वाचन का महत्वपूर्ण कार्य सजगता एवं सक्रियतापूर्वक करें। उन्होंने कहा कि गरियाबंद जिला अंतर्राज्यीय सीमा से लगा हुआ है। जहां से अवैध परिवहन, नगदी, शराब या अन्य नशे की सामग्री एवं अन्य सामग्री आने की संभावना रहती है। जिसकी ईमानदारी से जांच नियमित करना होगा। उन्होंने पारदर्शिता के साथ कार्य करने कहा। इसकी जांच रिपोर्ट नियमित रूप से भेजने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि लोकसभा निर्वाचन के साथ आगामी होली त्यौहार एवं अन्य त्यौहार आने वाले है। जिले में सामाजिक सौहार्द्र बना रहे यह सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होंने सभी थाना प्रभारियों को अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में आगामी त्यौहारों को देखते हुए शांति समिति की बैठक आयोजित करने के निर्देश दिए। वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री काम्बले ने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन और पुलिस प्रशासन आपसी समन्वय के साथ कार्य करें। उन्होंने कहा कि निर्वाचन कार्य को देखते हुए जिले में सुरक्षा के दृष्टिकोण से पुलिस फोर्स आने वाली है जिसके रहने, पेयजल, प्रकाश सहित अन्य बुनियादी सुविधा सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। इस दौरान राजस्व एवं पुलिस विभाग के अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

Collector and SSP held joint meeting of Revenue and Police Department officials

Gariaband Collector and District Election Officer Shri Deepak Kumar Aggarwal today held a joint meeting of Revenue and Police Department officials for the smooth and peaceful conduct of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in the Collectorate Hall. Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Amit Tukaram Kamble was present on this occasion. Collector Shri Deepak Kumar Aggarwal said that with the announcement of the programs for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 by the Election Commission of India, the Model Code of Conduct has become effective in the district. He asked to follow it strictly. He said that as soon as the Model Code of Conduct came into force, restrictive orders have been issued in the district as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India. Collector Shri Aggarwal said that as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, all the officers will responsibly discharge their assigned responsibilities for free, fair and peaceful elections. He said that all officers should be aware of the Model Code of Conduct. Along with the Lok Sabha election work, law and order has to be maintained during the upcoming festivals of Holi, Eid-ul-Fitr and Ram Navami. He said that there should not be any complaint regarding law and order. Religious places will not be used in any form for election campaigning. Collector Shri Aggarwal said that along with the Model Code of Conduct, Section 144 has become effective in the district, and gave instructions to ensure its compliance. He said that there should be good arrangements for the accommodation of officers and employees engaged in polling work. Polling stations should have drinking water, lighting, boundary wall, shade, ramp, cleanliness, treatment and other basic facilities. He instructed to inspect the polling stations and submit the report. He instructed to pay special attention in granting permission for meetings and rallies. He said that under postal ballot, the facility of home voting has been provided to the disabled people. Elderly voters who will not be able to reach polling stations can also vote. He said that after the implementation of Model Code of Conduct, there will be no uproar.
