चांपा - नगर के स्व. जीवनलाल साव सामुदायिक भवन में सुरेंद्र केसरवानी, राकेश केसरवानी एवं परिवार द्वारा स्व. देवकुमारी केसरवानी जी के वार्षिक श्राद्ध निमित्त श्रीमद्भागवत कथा ज्ञान यज्ञ आयोजित है जहां चौथे दिन के कथा का विस्तार करते हुए श्रद्धेय ब्यासपीठ पंडित मनोज पाण्डेय जी ने बताया कि ध्रुवजी पूर्वजन्म में ब्राह्मण थे। अपने अत्रीय मित्र को राजा बनते देख ध्रुव जी भी राजा बनना चाहते थे। इस मनोरथ को पूर्ण करने के लिए भगवान विष्णु की तपस्या जीवन भर की। आयु बीत जाने पर ध्रुवजी की मृत्यु हो गयी। तप पूरा होने में सिर्फ 6 माह ही रह गया था। ध्रुवजी अपने इस जन्म में भी राजा बनना चाहते थे । मात्र 6 साल की आयु में तपस्या करने निकल पड़े, 6 माह के तप में 1 माह फलाहार, 1 माह पत्तों का आहार, 1 माह जल पीकर, 1 माह केवल वायु पीकर, 1माह खड़े रहकर तप किया, छठे माह के तप में ध्रुवजी ने अपना श्वास रोका तो संसार में सभी का श्वास रुक गया, तो संसार को बचाने के लिए भगवान विष्णुजी को मधुबन में ध्रुव के निकट आये। भागवतजी में सुन्दर वर्णन मिलता है कि भगवान ने भक्त ध्रुव का दर्शन किया, अर्थात् वे भक्त को दर्शन देने नही दर्शन करने आये। ध्रुव चरित्र का दार्शनिक पक्ष वर्णन इस प्रकार दिया गया- जीव ही राजा उत्तान पाद है, उपर पैर वाला  या उल्टा पैर वाला या विपरीत दिशा में चलने वाला, बुद्धि ही सुनीति और मन ही सुरुचि है, ये ही 2 पत्नी हैं, जीव रूपी उत्तानपाद बुद्धि रूपी सुनीति की उपेक्षा कर देता है, मन रूपी सुरुचि का दास बन जाता है। हम सब‌को मन की बात न मानकर बुद्धि की बात मानना चाहिए। मन की बात मानने से क्षणिक सुख मिलता है। परन्तु बुद्धि की बात मानने में अखण्ड आनन्द की प्राप्ति होती है। कथा में आज राजा बेन, पृथु भरत आदि की कथा सुनायी गयी, नर्क वर्णन किया गया, अजामिल की भी चर्चा हुई।  प्रहलाद जी भगवान के अत्यंत प्रिय भक्त हैं, भीषण अत्याचार के बाद भी वे वहीं भक्ति पथ में टिके रहे, घबराए नहीं, फिर भगवान ने कृपा की।

Only 6 months were left for the penance to be completed. Dhruvji wanted to become a king in this birth also. At the age of just 6 years, he set out to do penance, during the 6 months of penance, he ate fruits for 1 month, ate leaves for 1 month, drank water for 1 month, drank only air for 1 month, and did penance by standing for 1 month. In the sixth month of penance, Dhruvji When I stopped breathing, everyone in the world stopped breathing, so to save the world, Lord Vishnuji came near Dhruv in Madhuban. There is a beautiful description in Bhagwatji that God had darshan of the devotee Dhruva, that is, he did not come to give darshan to the devotee. Philosophical aspect of Dhruva's character is described as follows - The living being itself is the King Uttan Pad, the one with upper foot or the opposite foot or walking in the opposite direction, the intellect is Suniti and the mind is Suruchi, these are the two wives, the living form is Uttan Pad. He ignores the wisdom in the form of intellect and becomes a slave to the beauty in the form of mind. We all should follow our intellect rather than our heart. Following the mind gives momentary happiness. But by following the words of wisdom, one gets eternal happiness. Today in the story, the story of Raja Ben, Prithu Bharat etc. was narrated, hell was described, Ajamil was also discussed. Prahlad ji is a very dear devotee of God, even after severe atrocities, he remained on the path of devotion, did not panic, then God blessed him.
