छिंदवाड़ा - अमरवाड़ा में इन दिनों विगत एक दो माह से नगर भर में चोरों का जमकर बोल वाला है। शादी समारोह हो कोई सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम हो या साप्ताहिक बाजार। भीड़ वाले क्षेत्र को देखते ही चोर अपनी सेंधमारी कर रहे हैं। प्रशासन की चुनाव में व्यस्तता का ये चोर गिरोह जमकर फायदा उठा रहे हैं। चोर गिरोह इतना सक्रिय है कि ना तो सीसीटीवी में कैद हो पा रहे हैं और ना ही अन्य क्षेत्रों में पकड़ में आ रहे हैं। ऐसे में कहीं ना कहीं पुलिस का मुखबिरी तंत्र भी फेल होता नजर आ रहा है। नगर में बीते दिनों हुए पुलिस जन संवाद कार्यक्रम में भी नगर के जनप्रतिनिधि गणमान्य नागरिकों ने पुलिस व्यवस्था को लेकर खासा नाराजगी व्यक्त की थी। चुनाव तारीखों के ऐलान और प्रशासनिक अमले के व्यस्त रहने के बाद से लगभग हर सप्ताह या तो मकानो में चोरी हो रही है या दुकानों में या फिर बाइक चोरी। 27 मार्च को वन विभाग कार्यालय के सामने से दिनदहाड़े चोरों ने पत्रकार अमर गिरी की बाइक को गोल कर दिया। इसके बाद चर्च कंपाउंड के पास अनिल नंदी के मकान में नकदी सहित जेवरात चोरी हो गई। जेल रोड के मकान में भी कुछ माह पहले चोरी की खबर सामने आई थी। इन सबके अलावा स्वागत लॉन और सिध्दी विनायक लॉन में शादी समारोह के दौरान भी कुछ बाइक चोरी होने की खबर है। वही 6 अप्रैल शनिवार की देर शाम मकान के सामने से ही अशोक कहार की एक बाइक को चोरों ने गोल कर दिया इसके अलावा एक साइकिल पुराना पोस्ट ऑफिस के पास से चुरा ली गई। वहीं दूसरी तरफ अब नगर के बड़े प्रतिष्ठानों सहित आमजनों में हो रही चोरियों के चलते अब भय नजर आ रहा है। इस मौके पर नगर प्रेस क्लब,मीडिया संगठन सहित जनप्रतिनिधि और आम जनों ने हो रही चोरियों पर अंकुश लगाने सहित चोरों को जल्द से जल्द पकड़ने की मांग की है ताकि आमजन अपने आप को सुरक्षित महसूस कर सके।

After this, jewelery along with cash was stolen from Anil Nandi's house near the church compound. There was also news of theft in a house on Jail Road a few months ago. Apart from all this, there is news of some bikes being stolen during wedding ceremonies in Swagat Lawn and Siddhi Vinayak Lawn. On the late evening of 6th April, Saturday, a bike belonging to Ashok Kahar was gunned down by thieves in front of his house. Apart from this, a bicycle was stolen from near the old post office. On the other hand, there is fear among the common people including the big establishments of the city. On this occasion, the city press club, media organizations and public representatives and common people have demanded to curb the ongoing thefts and arrest the thieves as soon as possible so that the common people can feel safe.
