दंतेवाड़ा - दंतेवाड़ा की प्रसिद्ध फागुन मंडई धीरे-धीरे अपने पूरे शबाव की ओर बढ़ने लगी है गाँव-गाँव से ‘‘सिरहा‘‘ एवं ग्रामीण अपने-अपने देवी-देवताओं के छत्र, बैरक एवं ध्वजा के साथ मंडई में शामिल हो रहे है। 9 दिनों तक चलने वाले इस धार्मिक आयोजन के तीसरे दिन तृतीय पालकी के साथ ‘‘नांचमाडनी‘‘ की रस्म परम्परानुसार संपन्न की गई। तीसरे दिन माई जी की तृतीय पालकी परम्परानुसार मंदिर से नारायण मंदिर पहुंची जहाँ विधिवत पूजा-अर्चना, सलामी एवं अन्य रस्म अदायगी के पश्चात् देर शाम मंदिर वापस लौटी जहाँ ‘‘नांचमाडनी‘‘ की रस्म का आयोजन किया गया। ज्ञात हो कि‘‘नांचमाडनी‘‘ की रस्म के दौरान ‘‘गमान नाचा‘‘ का आयोजन होता है। जिसमें माई जी की डोली मंदिर वापसी के पश्चात् कलार, कुम्हार तेंलगा जाति के लोग माई जी के मंदिर से कलश स्थापना स्थल तक परम्परा अनुसार विधिवत् पूजा-अर्चना एवं अन्य रस्म स्वागत नृत्य करके पूजा स्थल पहुंचते है। दक्षिण बस्तर की प्रसिद्ध फागुन मंडई के कल पांचवे दिन पंचम पालकी माई जी की मंदिर से नारायण मंदिर पहुंचकर परंपरानुसार अदायगी के पश्चात् देर शाम वापस मंदिर पहुंचेगी तत्पश्चात् शिकारी नृत्यों की परम्परा अनुसार ‘‘लमहा मार नृत्य‘‘ का आयोजन होगा। ज्ञात हो कि ‘‘लमहामार‘‘ दरअसल में स्थानीय हल्बी बोली का शब्द है, जिसमें ‘‘लमहा अर्थात् खरगोश‘‘ के शिकार को कहा जाता है। इसमें ग्रामीणों द्वारा खरगोश के शिकार की प्राचीन परम्परा का अभिनय नृत्य के माध्यम से प्रदर्शन किया जाता है।

On the third day of this religious event which lasted for 9 days, the ritual of “Nanchmadani” along with the third palanquin was performed as per tradition. On the third day, Mai ji's third palanquin reached Narayan Temple from the temple as per tradition, where after the formal puja, salutation and other rituals, it returned to the temple late in the evening where the ritual of "Nanchmadani" was organised. It is known that “Gaman Nacha” is organized during the ritual of “Nanchmadani”. In which, after the return of Mai Ji's Doli to the temple, people of Kalar, Kumhar Telga caste reach the place of worship from Mai Ji's temple to the place where Kalash is established, after performing the ritual of worship and other ritual welcome dance as per tradition. Tomorrow, on the fifth day of South Bastar's famous Phagun Mandai, the fifth palanquin will reach Narayan Temple from Mai Ji's temple and after paying as per tradition, will return to the temple late in the evening, after which "Lamha Maar dance" will be organized as per the tradition of Shikari dances. Let it be known that “Lamhamar” is actually a word from the local Halbi dialect, which refers to the hunting of “Lamha i.e. rabbit”. In this, the ancient tradition of rabbit hunting is demonstrated by the villagers through dance.
