राजगढ़़ - आगामी लोकसभा निर्वाचन-2024 के दृष्टिगत कलेक्‍टर एवं जिला दण्‍डाधिकारी श्री हर्ष दीक्षित ने शस्‍त्र धारकों को अपने शस्‍त्र अनिवार्य रूप से 22 मार्च तक संबंधित थानों में जमा कराने के निर्देश दिए हैं। 22 मार्च तक शस्‍त्र जमा नहीं करने वाले शस्‍त्रधारकों के शस्‍त्र लायसेंस जिला स्‍तर से निरस्‍त कर दिए जाएंगे। मंगलवार को राजगढ लोकसभा क्षेत्र अंतर्गत आने वाले आठ विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के अधिकारियों की बैठक लेकर कलेक्‍टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री दीक्षित ने निर्वाचन संबंधी तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। इस दौरान उन्‍होंने कहा कि निर्वाचन की तैयारियां पूरी सावधानी से की जाए ताकि त्रुटि की कोई गुन्‍जाईश न रहे। बैठक में जिला पंचायत के मुख्‍य कार्यपालन अधिकारी श्री महीप किशोर तेजस्‍वी, उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री शिवप्रसाद मण्‍डराह, अतिरिक्‍त पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री आलोक शर्मा सहित राजगढ, नरसिंहगढ, सारंगपुर, खिलचीपुर, जीरापुर, ब्‍यावरा, राघौगढ, चाचौडा एवं सुसनेर विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के सहायक रिटर्निंग ऑफीसर मौजूद थे। बैठक में कलेक्‍टर ने कहा कि लोकसभा क्षेत्र अंतर्गत आने वाले सभी विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के सहायक रिटर्निंग अधिकारियों का आपस में बेहतर तालमेल रहे। खासतौर पर जिले के सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों के सहायक रिटर्निंग अधिकारी एक दूसरे के सम्‍पर्क में रहें। ताकि आवश्‍यकता पड्ने पर एक दूसरे का सहयोग लिया जा सके। उन्‍होंने कहा कि निर्वाचन प्रशिक्षण में निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देश बारीकी से मतदान दलों का समझाए जाएं ताकि वे सुव्‍यवस्थित तरीके से मतदान सम्‍पन्‍न करा सकें। यह भी सुनिश्चित किया जाए की मतदान के दौरान मतदाता के लिए निर्धारित 12 पहचान पत्रों में से किसी एक की जांच आवश्‍यक रूप से कर ली जाए। बगैर उचित पहचान पत्र के मतदान न करवाया जाए। वोटर पर्ची का वितरण भी यथा समय सुनिश्चित किया जाए। उन्‍होंने कहा कि ग्रीष्‍म काल को देखते हुए मतदान केन्‍द्रों पर छाया पानी के उचित इंतजाम किए जाएं। साथ ही प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए भी आवश्‍यक व्‍यवस्‍थाएं सुनिश्चित की  जाएं। मतदान कर्मियों को गर्मी से बचाव की भी उचित सलाह दी जाए। कलेक्‍टर ने वृद्ध व्यक्तियों के लिए होम वोटिंग, डाक मतपत्र एवं इडीसी के संबंध में भी आवश्‍यक दिशा निर्देश दिए।  

Collector reviewed election preparations

Rajgarh - In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024, Collector and District Magistrate Shri Harsh Dixit has instructed the gun owners to compulsorily deposit their weapons in the concerned police stations by 22nd March. Arms licenses of gun owners who do not deposit their weapons by March 22 will be canceled at the district level. On Tuesday, Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Dixit reviewed the election related preparations by holding a meeting of officials of eight assembly constituencies falling under Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituency. During this, he said that preparations for the elections should be done with utmost care so that there is no scope for error. In the meeting, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mr. Maheep Kishore Tejaswi, Deputy District Election Officer Mr. Shivprasad Mandrah, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Alok Sharma along with assistant returning officers of Rajgarh, Narsinghgarh, Sarangpur, Khilchipur, Jirapur, Byavra, Raghogarh, Chachoda and Susner assembly constituencies were present. Officers were present. In the meeting, the Collector said that the Assistant Returning Officers of all the assembly constituencies falling under the Lok Sabha constituency should have better coordination among themselves. Especially the Assistant Returning Officers of the border areas of the district should remain in touch with each other. So that each other's support can be taken when needed. He said that during the election training, the instructions of the Election Commission should be explained to the polling parties in detail so that they can conduct the voting in an organized manner. It should also be ensured that during voting any one of the 12 identity cards prescribed for the voter is necessarily checked. Voting should not be conducted without proper identity card. Distribution of voter slips should also be ensured on time. He said that in view of the summer season, proper arrangements should be made for shade and water at the polling stations. Necessary arrangements should also be ensured for first aid. Polling personnel should also be given proper advice on protection from heat. The Collector also gave necessary guidelines regarding home voting, postal ballot and EDC for elderly persons.
