बलरामपुर - जिले में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के बेहतर क्रियान्वयन के लिए नव नियुक्त मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. बसंत कुमार सिंह ने पदभार ग्रहण करते ही सभी खंड चिकित्सा अधिकारी, बीपीएम, पीएचसी प्रभारियों की समीक्षा बैठक मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी कार्यालय के सभाकक्ष में आयोजित किया गया। बैठक में डॉ. बसंत कुमार सिंह ने स्वास्थ्य विभाग के सभी अधिकारी/कर्मचारियों को अपने मुख्यालय में रह कर कार्य करने को कहा, साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि एनीमिया, कुष्ठ, टीबी, और मलेरिया मुक्त जिला बनाने के लिए सभी विकासखण्ड स्तर पर कार्ययोजना बनाकर कार्य करें। उन्होंने जिला स्तर पर एनीमिया के संबंध में बैठक आयोजित करने डीपीएम को निर्देशित किया। सीएमएचओ डॉ. सिंह ने बैठक में उपस्थित सभी विकासखण्ड प्रमुखों को निर्देशित किया की जिला से प्रदान समस्त आई.ई.सी. का प्रदर्शन स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों में करें। बैठक में मातृत्व एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य, एच.आर.पी. एवं पीएम.एस.एम.ए. का समीक्षा कर सभी गर्भवती माताओं का प्रसव पूर्व 04 ऐ.एन.सी. जांच कराने डॉ बसंत कुमार सिंह द्वारा निर्देशित किया गया। उन्होंने सभी को मिलकर कार्य करने एवं स्वस्थ बलरामपुर बनाने में सहयोग प्रदान करने कहा। साथ ही जिले में चल रहे सभी अभियान की जानकारी, रिपोर्ट समय पर समय पर उपलब्ध निर्देशित किया। बैठक में जिला कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक सुश्री स्मृति एक्का ने जिले को एनीमिया मुक्त जिला बनाने के दिशा में किये जा रहे कार्यों की समीक्षा करते हुए वाड्रफनगर और कुसमी विकासखण्ड में प्रगति लाने के निर्देश दिये। उन्होंने जिले में विकासखण्ड स्तर पर सिकल सेल का लक्ष्य अनुरूप जांच करने सभी विकासखण्ड चिकित्सा अधिकारियों को कहा। जिला कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक सुश्री स्मृति एक्का ने बैठक में कुष्ट रोग की समीक्षा किया एवं विकासखण्ड में कार्यरत सभी पुरुष स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ता को प्रतिमाह 05 कुष्ठ के रोगी संभावित मरीज खोजने के लक्ष्य को पूरा करने निर्देशित किया गया। बैठक में जिला कुष्ट अधिकारी डॉ. सुबोध सिंह ने बताया कि जिले में 15 मार्च से 21 मार्च तक सघन कुष्ठ खोज अभियान भी चलाया जा रहा है जिसमें अभियान की  गतिविधि की जानकारी भी उनके द्वारा दिया गया एवं सभी विकासखण्ड को अभियान को सफल बनाने हेतु आग्रह भी किया। समीक्षा बैठक में सभी जिला नोडल, खंड चिकित्सा अधिकारी, जिला सलाहकार वीपीएम, पीएचसी प्रभारी उपस्थित थे।
