हरदा - नगर के तापड़िया परिवार द्वारा अपने दिवंगत परिजनो की स्मृति में गर्मी के दिनों में पानी की अधिक आवश्यकता को ध्यान में रखते हुए जलसेवा प्रारंभ की है। भोपाल मण्डल रेल प्रशासन द्वारा रेल यात्रियों के लिए रेलवे स्टेशनों पर साफ एवं स्वच्छ पीने के पानी (पेयजल) की व्यवस्था वॉटर कूलर एवं वॉटर नल के माध्यम से उपलब्ध कराने के लिए प्रयासरत है, वहीं कुछ गैर सरकारी संगठन/ समाज सेवी संस्थाएं भी सेवा भावना से रेल यात्रियों की प्यास बुझाने में अपना सक्रिय योगदान दे रहे हैं। इन संस्थाओं द्वारा स्टेशन पर यात्रियों को शीतल जल उपलब्ध कराकर पानी की अतिरिक्त आवश्यकता की पूर्ति की जा रही है। वर्तमान में मण्डल के 9 स्टेशनों खिरकिया, हरदा, नर्मदापुरम, संत हिरदाराम नगर, विदिशा, गंजबासौदा, मंडी बामोरा, अशोकनगर, गुना पर 10 गैर सरकारी संगठन/समाज सेवी संस्थाएं सेवा भावना से निःशुल्क जल सेवा में अपना योगदान दे रही हैं। खिरकिया में नगर का तापड़िया परिवार वर्षो से यह सेवा देता आ रहा है। इनके द्वारा गाड़ी के स्टेशन पर आते ही यात्रियों को पानी पिलाने व खाली बॉटल में शीतल जल भरने का काम भी किया जा रहा है। उद्देश्य यही है कि मण्डल से गुजरने वाली ट्रेनों में कोई भी यात्री प्यासा न रहे। इससे रेल सफर की थकान और गर्मी के मौसम से बेहाल यात्रियों को काफी राहत मिल रही है। मण्डल के स्टेशनों पर गैर सरकारी संगठन एवं समाज सेवी संस्थाओं को स्टेशन पर यात्रियों को निःशुल्क शीतल जल पिलाने के लिए प्रशासन द्वारा अनुमति दी गई है। सभी समाजसेवी संस्थाओं/गैर सरकारी संगठनों/रोटरी क्लब से अपील की हैं कि मानव सेवा के इस पुनीत कार्य के लिए आगे आएं, रेल प्रशासन हर संभव मदद करेगा। 

Free water service is being provided to the passengers by NGOs/social organizations.

Harda - The Tapadiya family of Nagar has started water service in the memory of their deceased relatives, keeping in mind the greater need of water during summers. Bhopal Divisional Railway Administration is trying to provide clean and safe drinking water to the railway passengers at the railway stations through water coolers and water taps, while some NGOs/social service organizations are also working in the spirit of service. They are actively contributing in quenching the thirst of railway passengers. The additional requirement of water is being met by these institutions by providing cold water to the passengers at the station. At present, 10 NGOs/social organizations are contributing in the spirit of service to free water service at 9 stations of the division - Khirkiya, Harda, Narmadapuram, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Vidisha, Ganjbasoda, Mandi Bamora, Ashoknagar, Guna. The Tapadiya family of the city in Khirkiya has been providing this service for years. They are also doing the work of providing water to the passengers as soon as the train reaches the station and filling cold water in empty bottles. The aim is that no passenger remains thirsty in the trains passing through the division. This is providing a lot of relief to the passengers suffering from the fatigue of train travel and the summer season. The administration has given permission to NGOs and social service organizations at the stations of the division to provide free cold water to the passengers at the stations. An appeal has been made to all the social organizations/NGOs/Rotary Clubs to come forward for this noble cause of human service, the Railway Administration will provide all possible help.
